An enjoyable stay, thank you.
We're very pleased to have found Anton Guest House for our overnight stay. We were made most welcome by Louise, a helpful, sociable host and shown to our clean and comfortable bedroom. The breakfast menu was excellent and beautifully cooked with local produce an important feature. We were able to come and go as necessary, it's an easy and pleasant walk into town.

Excellent stay
Superb accommodation, excellent host, very welcoming. Quality of produce at breakfast second to none with ample choices. Within easy walking distance of town centre and parking outside. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Friendly welcoming B&B
Easy walk from all of Shrewsbury's restaurants and attractions. Lovely communication from Louise before my stay and delicious homemade cake was really appreciated after a long journey when I arrived! The room was clean and had everything you would need including a smart TV and comfortable easy chair. Peaceful comfortable nights sleep. Really tasty cooked breakfast with lots of vegetarian options.

Breakfast menu caters for all tastes. Loft room was clean. Road can be noisy, but less so late at night.

2 Night Stay in Shrewsbury
Convenient to the Town where there is plenty to see. Louise provided us with excellent service, making us very welcoming and providing a lovely breakfast and cakes. Bathroom a little small and room did suffer some road noise but had every convenience you would wish with some nice little touches, very clean and comfortable . Overall it is excellent value for money and would stay again if visiting Shrewsbury.

Our First BnB stay in England
Service was very good. Breakfast was delicious, Room was small but comfy. Narrow stairs but managed with help from the host. There is no off street parking and had to find a street park. Easy 15 minute wlk to town and sights to see. Shrewsbury is a very interesting town. Night meals at the local inn down the road was very good.

Lovely comfortable room with all amenities provided. Good selection of toiletries plus other amenities. Excellent selection of teas, coffees, chocolate plus biscuits and chocolates. Fresh milk and home made cake available in the dining room. Excellent breakfast with any dietary requirements catered for. 10-15 minutes walk into Shrewsbury so excellent location.

SUNNY BREAK
it was a great little break. rain one evening but sunny and warm rest of week. great breakfast at the Anton as wife is a vegetarian and l,m not.Tea and home made cake when we arrived early, it was no problem at all. would stay again and highly recommend it to others. a train line does run behind but trains do not run after 11.30 about.

Nice B&B with a friendly host
Great B&B at a nice location with a very friendly host. The afternoon welcome coffee and cake was a nice touch. The only negative thing I'll say is that the bathroom was very small (though very clean). I am not a large person and I had to twist to get around and hurt my back!

It's about using the space that is available to provide amenities in a period property, without spoiling the original features too much. The star of the show was Louise who was a joy to talk to I just wish I had more time to chat to her. Also the guest in the lovely breakfast room were really friendly and we talked all through the meal. The breakfast was delicious and in the room the bed was very comfortable.

A pleasant experience
The best feature is the owners who are extremely thoughtful, helpful, efficient and friendly. They make you feel at home, but leave you free to enjoy your stay. Beds are comfortable, breakfast is excellent, rooms are clean, every detail seemed to be addressed. Kettle, tea and coffee is supplied in the rooms, as much as you want, they even supply biscuits. Bottled water is available, from the dining room.

Great pace to stay!
My last stay here was 5 nights. I've stayed in several hotels in shrewsbury but always come back here. Good sized rooms, good amenities, good location and really great host. It's nice to be able to use the breakfast room for take away food in the evening, but also a 10 min walk (if that!) to the restaurants in town.

Sadly the reason my friend and I stayed in Shrewsbury was for funeral at Shrewsbury Abbey. We arrived late the evening before and I was so grateful to get a good nights sleep, and then have a home cooked vegetarian breakfast in the morning
