The room we were given up on the top floor was clean and comfortable however we left without staying the night due to an unfortunate incident caused by another resident. The staff were very understanding

A good weekend
Apart from the rooms and bathrooms being tiny it was a good hotel, close to everything easy to find. No staff on site but close enough to help when needed.

Basic but cheap
It was basic. Bathroom grotty. Unfortunately our view was of a flat roof in a court yard so little natural light and very noisy pigeons outside our window. Plus sides are - Bed was comfy. Good size towels and large tv.

Great location for the town centre. Radiator in bathroom not connected so very cold in bathroom. Unfortunately bar downstairs closed but hotel served it’s purpose and provided well priced accommodation. Would recommend on a budget!!

Overall good value for money and very convenient for the station. The room was very small and overlooked the square in front of the station. As a consequence it was rather noisy at times. The staff were friendly and helpful but obviously not around 24 hours

Lovely little hotel.
Excellent small hotel in an ideal position to explore Shrewsbury. Staff were very helpful and although the hotel was closed when we arrived they got someone to open up so we could leave our bags.

Small room but comfy
We stayed for one night. The staff were cheerful and helpful. Our room was very compact indeed and although it was advertised as a king size bed it was in fact a double, so one of us slept in the single. Beds were comftorble. The shower was small and en suite very tight, would be difficult for anyone who is a big size.

1. The room was very small. 2. On check in we were told that the fire alarm was very sensitive and we should shower with the door closed. Someone else did not get the memo cause the alarm went off at 6am the following morning and we had to get dressed and run out the building. 3. The cleaner did not wash/remove our drinks glasses from the room. Location was convenient for getting into town and using the rail.

Good right priced hotel
You enter through the bar area to check in with whoever is the bar tender at the time. Once you have checked in you are told of the other entrance to the rooms which is good not having to go through the bar all the time.I checked in then went down to report a problem with the handle to my shower room. It was off and i scratched my arm on the screw. I went down mainly to report it cos i did not want the hotel thinking i had broke it. However in saying that it did not get fixed whilst i was there for the 5 nights, No blind in the shower room it was missing. Low noise levels apart from hearing the hand dryer being used downstairs

Only one decent staff who greeted us when we got there. The cleaner who we met two days later was helpful with extra tea ,coffee and milk. We requested a fan for the room, nobody got back to us for the rest of our stay, heat awful.

I only saw 2 people and 1 was bar staff. I had to ask for tea as there wasn't any ,I got 2 bags. There wasn't anybody there the next morning , so no tea and nobody to leave my overnight bag with. There was some water behind the cistern and couldn't tell anybody, lack of service.

Excellent stay.
Excellence stay. Across the road from the railway station. Very handy for the centre. It is an old building and it is forgiven for having some wear and tear. Only query is that the bar is the checking in area and the service here is not great when we visited.

Web site did not say where to park and one way system is a nightmare. Room especially the bathroom was small, view awful but that could not be helped but the could have cleared up the broken glass and excessive pigeon s**t outside the window. Does not do food, even though you are booking B+B this means a packed breakfast, not what we were expecting! Breakfast bag seemed random - crisps and a kit-kat?

Lovely hotel, noisy location
The staff and the hotel were both clean and well presented. The lady showed us to our room and talk us through everything which was excellent. The room we stayed in was at the front of the hotel over looking the rail station. The road is very noisey and there was a lot of shouting too. Better nosie insulation and this would have been perfect!

Met by manager at pre arranged time as hotel appears to be run 'remotely' from pub up the road. Check in swift and friendly. Welcome pack of nibbles + fruit juice and instant porridge for breakfast. WNTL?

Excellent location, good, practical hotel
This was a good little hotel located right opposite the station and within walking distance of all the key points of the town centre. It is small and practical, providing all the straightforward needs of a traveller. The bar was unfortunately closed for refurbishment during my stay but otherwise the hotel met all my needs, with everything in the room working and room service making up the bed each day. Clean, calm and straightforward, it was everything I was looking for.

快適とは言い難い
レセプションがあるわけではなく、お隣のパブで手続きするのでパブが開いている時間帯しかチェックインできません。チェックアウト後に荷物を預かってもらうこともできず、駅にコインロッカー等もなく困りました。こういうことは予約時に明記しておく方が親切だと思います。2泊しましたが部屋の清掃もなく予備のタオルもなく快適とは言い難い滞在でした。
