Amazing location. Ambiance is incredible. Really a great experience to feel the Tuscany experience. Staff was helpful, kind and attentive. Breakfast was delicious. There's option for free and paid parking close to the hotel. You can easily walk downtown and enjoy the view. Awesome experience!
I loved the concept of this big Italian mansion turned into a hotel. It is surrounded by several mansions in a very quiet neighborhood. It is 5 minutes walking from Siena center. There are few amenities, but the price/location/condition it is a great place for a short stay.
This place was just okay. They will tell you there is air conditioning and trust me, there isn't. They told us it comes up through the floor, and they described it as radiant cooling, but it isn't as there are no condensers on the property. They put a fan in the room which made it bearable. If you're going in the Summer or any time of the year where it's 80 & above, I would not recommend this place. All the other places we stayed had ac units that worked great. Cleanliness was okay. There were stains on the curtains, but everything else was okay. Location was good, but if you drive there, parking is very limited so be prepared to walk a distance. Staff was nice. Continental breakfast was good as well. Terrace was nice with a great view of Siena. It's 4 flights of stairs up. You can only bring up the food they supply (which is only their continental breakfast), otherwise if you bring up food from somewhere else, you'll get fined. All in all, I'd suggest shopping around for better amenities for the amount this place charges & the fact they don't have ac & telling guests they do.
The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood, perfectly within a short lovely walk to the city! The people who work there were lovely and super helpful! Nice breakfast! We were able to park for 20 euro in a safe space.
Everything about the property was handled very nicely. Convenient location to walking to all areas, great restaurants, nice rooftop patio on the property to relax after the day. Easy on street parking close to the property.
Great location, quiet neighbourhood 15 minutes walk from the center of the old town. Room was nice size, well appointed, nice bathroom. Breakfast was typical Italian Fair. Only complaint is that the room was dusty in area that is not usually used.
The room and the view were great. This property also has a rooftop patio which was nice. No elevator so quite a work out walking up and down stairs.

Room was clean, no complaints. Area is nice, close to historic city center. Rooms are nice.
Only one and big problem, mattress was saggy.
This is a reason why I reduced property condition to 3 stars.
The location was very good and we liked the rooftop terrace. We did not have a functioning air conditioning unit during a heat wave in Italy. We were not offered a fan for the first night and it was miserable. They sent a technician but it still was not working for a second night. I asked to speak to a manager two different times but was refused. We asked for a different room but they said they were full. We paid 300+ per night for a “deluxe” room but they offered us no compensation. They did not even waive the tourist fee or our drinks. I feel sorry for the next guests that stayed in the room because they did not seem to care.
We loved everything about this hotel! First, our flight into Rome was very delayed, making us arrive in Siena at nearly 1:00 am. We called ahead and spoke with Elena, who arranged for us to be able to access our room so very late (the hotel front desk closes at 10:00 pm). Our room surpassed expectations—large and comfortable bed, great storage for our stuff, excellent air conditioning, and a spectacular view of the Duomo and City Hall bell tower. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Highly recommend Villa Elda Boutique Hotel!
A small hotel with easy parking on the street. (They told me which side to park due to street cleaning).
Very clean and staff is very friendly.
The air conditioning is via the floor which was not enough air circulation for me so I asked for a fan and than it was great.
Good walking distance to the center. Next time I’ll go back to it again.
Overall a great experience at the hotel. We chose this hotel because it had parking available, but upon arrival, we were told that there were only 4 spots and all were spoken for. Happily, there was adequate free parking on the street (we stayed in late May). So no big deal. The air conditioning took a while to kick in, but eventually it got to a comfortable level (note: there is a remote control to turn on the regular AC). There is no elevator / lift, so be prepared to carry luggage upstairs. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower is quite small, so a bigger person might have issues. Luckily we’re a couple of skinny retirees, so the shower size was no issue. The hotel is quite walkable to the Old Siena (~12-15 minutes). A nice walk after dinner back to the hotel. The place felt safe and pretty quiet. The breakfast was wonderful. Some nice hard-boiled eggs, meat, cheese, etc. Plus cappuccino to order, delivered to your outdoor table. The person handling the breakfast room (and morning front desk) was absolutely wonderful and so helpful. She even remembered our cappuccino order from morning-to-morning. She was very welcoming and sincere.

Villa Elda is more a dated B and B than luxury boutique ; there is no luxury - the water glasses in the room are plastic and breakfast is dried out croissants with jam in plastic packets. There is no feeling the staff are there to look after you - just a list of what you will be charged if you do anything wrong g. Nit value for money
In walking distance to the Piazza: about 8 minutes. We loved the location, the roof top, the patio for which we had our breakfast each morning and the service was excellent!
Located on. hilltop west of the old city. Rooftop lounge provides Awesome view, especially at dunset. Historic villa tastefully converted to small hotel. near a bus stop. Only a 15 minute walk to the old city and attractions.
The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and nice. The hotel was within a 15 minute walk from the town center. The area was quiet and safe. I highly recommend.
