  • Above Lake Thun on the gold coast, we offer you in the modern Bernese Oberland Chalet
    the living-bedroom-studio with fully equipped kitchen including Shower room and toilet.
    The fantastic view of the Northern Alps with Niesen and Lake Thun opposite allows you to enjoy your breakfast both inside and outside (covered loggia approx. 12 m²).
    TV and WiFi are available free of charge.

Klara’s place was exactly as described. And the view! Spectacular. Definitely easier to get to this apartment with a car, though I believe there is a bus stop not far away. The buses are frequent and reliable if you need them. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Klara is a lovely host, a great communicator, met us on site and was available if we needed her for anything. Smooth rental process from start to finish. Highly recommended!

The property is situated on the foothills around Lake Thun that provided a view of the outstanding and mesmerising mountains with their peaks covered by snow. An excellent location from which to explore this region of Switzerland.

Quiet and Clean

This is a nice, clean place to stay with a beautiful view! We had everything that we needed, including a microwave, an iron and laundry. We rented a car and were able to see everything that we wanted to, from Bern, to Interlaken to Zermatt. Klara was a sweet, gracious hostess who could answer any questions that we had, along with some nice recommendations. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Klara!

Great accommodation and breathtaking view

Easily accessible and located in a quiet and tranquil place , the apartment offers a wonderful view of Lake Thun and the mountains. The spacious room with huge French windows provides everything that guests need: a big comfy bed, sofa, dining table, modern cooking area with facilities and a well equipped bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed the terrace in front of the big windows for having our morning coffee or watching he lake. All attractions in the Jungfrau region were within easy reach with our car. Before and during our stay we had excellent communication with our host who made sure we had everything we needed in the apartment and helped us plan our daily trips.

An amazing vacation

Everything about our 4 night stay at Klara's was wonderful. She was there when we arrived and explained everything. The views from the unit are spectacular.. The apartment was spotless and was fully equipped. Having a rental car is a good idea. Klara's house is within a 10-15 minute drive to many great hiking and viewing spots. If you are visiting the Interlaken area and are looking for a great spot to stay, you will not be disappointed staying at Klara's. Promise!

It’s a rare gem! Loved everything about this place!

We stayed at this property from May 9-15th, 2024! It’s on a hill so you have a breathtaking views all around you. Its a very modern, clean and fully equipped studio apartment. We had everything we could literally asked for. The view s of Lake Thun and surrounding mountains were unbeatable! We loved every second of our stay! The host Klara is exceptionally wonderful! She was super friendly, warm, welcoming, helpful and fun person. She will make sure you have the best time and give all the directions, instructions and support to make the best out of your stay! We highly recommend this property, and we will definitely return!!

Grüezi! It was great setup. Had kitchen with utensils and even spice rack, which was a nice surprise. From the kitchen, we made sandwiches for our hikes and prepared dinner from the local grocery store every night. The ability to use the washer/drier was great. Pro-tip i would suggest the hotter settings haha. One critique, a full explanation of how to open the patio door would be useful. It took me a couple of days to figure out the handle isn't a lock, but instead a switch between how the door opens, swing vs tilt.Klara was a great host. Ask her about local hikes to do. You don't have to pay 40CHF for a gondola ride to see some cool stuff in Sigriswil. Would definitely stay here again! Cheers!Dan in Ventura

The host was very accommodating, courteous and very helpful. She was present when we checked in and answered whatever questions we had. The apartment was great, kitchen well equipped, access to washer and dryer was very helpful. I won’t hesitate to come back for another rental.

This place has the best view. The owner was super nice and showed us around the unit, and it had everything we needed. She also suggested a few places that we visited. The place has all the dishes, tea, coffee, oil, and some spices and sugar. Basically, everything you need. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful studio apartment this is! Beautiful views of the lakes and mountains. It's ground floor and parking is directly outside so it's easy for checking in & out. Me, My wife and 2 year old son stayed. The host is really nice and friendly, showed us how to use the laundry facilities, had a cot ready for my son and even brought him a box full of toys to play with during his stay. She definitely went the extra mile! The place is extremely clean and tidy. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone

Wonderful stay

Klara was an incredible host and went above and beyond to help us with the plans we had during our stay and informing us about local rules since we arrived by car. The apartment was a perfect match for our stay and the location/view was incredible. I would recommend this property in a heart beat. Definitely will stay here again in the future.

Fantastic stay!

The apartment is very modern and has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Plus, the views are incredible! Perfect location for exploring Switzerland. Klara is friendly, welcoming and on hand to help with anything you need. I would definitely recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat!
