"La Mezzaluna is a short walk from Barga Gallicano train station, and buses to Lucca. Rita is amazingly hospitable & welcoming, and did so much to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms are very nice, buffet breakfast set us up for the day. There is a bus up to Barga during the day, and a taxi back in evening.If you visit Barga, this is the place to stay. "

Luca, the chef came around during dinner chatting with the tables. The farm to table style of dining was unique and always delicious. We loved the mountain trails to explore the landscape and the views are spectacular. Parking very easy, but the peculiarities of house numbering in Carrara make it difficult to find the B&B location, which is located not near #18 and behind another group of houses numbered 16.
