"The people here are the BEST. We had the greatest meal prepared with love, local ingredients snd Nonna’s recipes. And the setting, room, location, everything was magical and lovely. Our room was so nice and comfortable, clean and beautiful. "

"This outstanding property is stretched over acres of beautiful countryside at the bottom of the Etna volcano. It is part of the Relais Châteaux collection, so you can expect 5 star service and amenities. Rooms and suites are spread across the property, in the middle of vineyards, lemon trees etc. The views are breathtaking, the staff is extremely helpful, nice and professional. A small downside is the under equipped gym which deserves an upgrade. I truly recommend this property weather as a starting point to the wonders I this region, or just for a calm and relaxing day in the Sicily countryside."

"The staff very much made this hotel worth maximum ratings. They were able to accommodate my need for two separate beds without issue and honor what I thought I was booking. The breakfast was great and made the stay a good value. The gym and pool close at 2000 - it would be nice if these were open longer. "

"The house was big and well-equipped. The host recommended places to go and helped organise a vineyard tour which was really good. There were a couple of issues with the electricity supply but the host was easy to contact to help fix it. There were 12 of us in the house bedrooms and the huts and all were comfortable. The views over the coast were really nice. "

"No hot water for duration. Property manager didn’t show us how to get hot water. Also didn’t show us how to get air conditioning on in the main living space.Nothing to do in the local area."

"Grand old villa, with grand furniture. Close to Mt Etna cable car, very convenient. Our chef prepared fresh ravioli, and rissoto, plus delicious mains for our meal at night. Followed up with fresh prepared sicilian breakfast in the morning. We got lost due to google maps, and staff came to find us, which was appreciated. Room was comfy and huge, a very enjoyable night."

"The hosts are remarkable people. The property is basically an estate that has a couple rental rooms. Rooms are spacious with balconies overlooking an olive grove. I cannot say enough positive about the home and the gracious hosts. Highly recommended."
