In Sinalunga there is calm and peace, the village is well located in a wonderfully beautiful countryside and nearby the village there are many very nice pedestrian and bike paths. Sinalunga isn't a typical tourist town, but locals live there in a small Italian town where citizens sit in the square and for long hours and time seems to have stopped. In the main square of Sinalunga there is a bar, two small restaurants and a pizzeria, a bakery, a pharmacy, a bank and you can buy authentic Italian ice cream. There is a theater in the city and the square has four churches and the medieval Palazzo Pretorio, which was first a government council house and then a prison and a courthouse. A pool open in summer is a few minutes by foot from the apartment on foot. Around Sinalunga there are thermal areas where you can go to the bathrooms and relax in enjoying the beauty of nature.
In the surroundings of Sinalunga you can find delicious wine tastings, see the wine production, eat delicious Tuscan food, enjoy nature and last but not least, the art that Italy has to offer. From Sinalunga it is easy to visit small picturesque centers such as Cortona, Montepulciano, Monteriggioni, Pienza and Lucignano and the beautiful Val d 'Orcia and also a short distance from the cities Siena, Arezzo, Perugia and Florence. A short distance away you can reach Lake Trasimeno where you can take pleasant bike paths between the various intact villages and a possible summer bathroom. There is a train station in Sinalunga or you can rent a car or also use buses between the places. In addition, there is a rental for regular bikes, electric and mopeds in Sinalunga.
