"The room was clean and very comfy! The staff at the front desk was exceptional. And the breakfast was really good. Sadly the pancake machine was broken. And the pool was nice, and the hot tub was nice and hot. Also a sad note, the jets in the hot tub were broken. But an amazing stay either way! "

"Recently renovated and done very well. The exterior may be next, so don’t be fooled by anything on the outside. I’ve stayed in many hotels before that have undergone updates but whoever they had do the work did about the best I’ve seen. For the price, you can’t beat it."

"Recently travelling across the U.P. reviewing new nest locations, my wife and I have stayed a few times and have always been pleasantly surprised by the staff with quiet rooms, secure parking, pet friendly and cost effective view of Superior lake some 100 feet away."

"Room was clean, beds were comfortable. However you could hear everyone outside in the hallway, not those quietly walking by but def. people talking in a normal voice or louder. Thankfully, it was middle of winter and not too many people were there anyway. Would probably stay again. "
