"So surprised at this place, did not expect as much as it had to offer, it was beautiful! Food was delicious, staff friendly, everything you’d expect from an Irish hotel. Breakfast was the best (apart from my sisters house) I’ve had on my whole three week trip, through various parts of the country. Pauline, my breakfast waitress was excellent, courteous, friendly and had a word for everyone she met. A treasure."

"We had a fantastic Easter holiday at Chris and Kathleen’s beautiful home. The house is so comfortable and had everything there that we could possibly need. Our kids loved the playroom and had so much fun playing with the toys there and the garden is gorgeous with balls and badminton etc in the garage that we we played out there. The location is perfect so close to Skibereen town only a couple of mins drive or it’s possible to walk. It’s close Baltimore and the beaches at tragumna and Tralispean which we loved and the stunning Lough hyne is only 10 mins away too. Chris and Kathleen are great hosts with great communication. We cannot wait to return. There is so much to see and do in the area we hadn’t time to do it all."

"Hard to imagine a more unique and exciting way to experience Ireland than in this amazing VRBO. The castle has an unsurpassed 360 degree views of the water and farmland. Inside, it has the modern conveniences you need while maintaining a rustic atmosphere. The stairs can be a challenge yet the views from the modern upstairs bedroom is worth the risk. Everything was clean, warm and comfortable. Good directions and easy to find on the map. Excellent Wifi throughout. Highly recommend for a once-in-a-lifetime lodging experience."

"This is a fabulous property in an exceptional location. It's really all about the view from the patio! The house is very comfortable and spacious with all the facilities you would need. The kitchen is a little dated but it's perfectly adequate and well equipped. The bedrooms are bathrooms are top-quality."
