"Our stay was quite enjoyable in the Captain's Quarters! Bed was comfortable, room was very clean, bathroom was very clean, amenities were all provided and then some. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to any one who is needing a place to stay in the area. Quite convenient to AC and LBI which are the 2 places we were visiting."

"First the not preferable : Be careful when booking. The second floor rooms (3 rooms) share one small bathroom and there’s no extra first floor bathroom. The first floor bathrooms probably have a private bath. We went through Expedia. Maybe book direct so you can ask questions. Our room came with 2 standard sized towels. When asked, they left a couple more. I’d also prefer my own hand towel instead of sharing with the entire second floor. Closets could use more hanging space. Plenty of shelves. Next the good stuff: great directions and instructions. Bed is comfortable. Room is large. They have earplugs so you don’t hear the road or creaky stairs. They have good coffee and creamers. Small frig in the room. You can use a fully stocked kitchen. We stopped at a local orchard and used the knife to cut up our morning fruit. Walkable restaurant Mi Publitia (?) had a nice breakfast for reasonable prices. It’s very close to the wedding venue The Farm on Main. About 15 minutes to LBI. Good location. Reasonably priced. Dawn responds immediately."

"Very cozy, clean and comfortable pet-friendly house just outside of LBI! Plenty of amenities were conveniently included in case you forgot to pack them. Shampoo / Soap / Bath towels / Cooking supplies / Hair dryer / Laundry detergent, and many more to list. The house is a 12 minute drive (without Rt 72 traffic) to Ron Jon right at the “start” of Long Beach Island. Within a 2-5 minute drive of the house there’s a Shop-Rite, Target, Costco, Wawa, Ice Cream, Pizza and much more. In terms of location, the house is on a fairly busy road in front of a traffic light.. So you’re going to hear vehicles speed by with the occasional fire truck/police car sirens. That didn’t bother any of us, but just something to be aware of. We loved that the host accepted dogs, which is quite rare! But keep in mind the property is not fully fenced-off, so don’t let your dog wander around in the back yard :-). Overall the house was a great budget-friendly alternative to staying on the actual Island while being a short drive away to sand, seagulls and crashing waves."
