If like us you are just looking for a place to rest in comfort while you are traveling, then this is it! Very clean, basic furnishings with no TV. A cooktop, microwave, and fridge, but no oven are provided. As we arrived after midnight, and had difficulty with the room code after entering the building, we called the 'emergency number' and got in the 'next available operator' loop for half an hour so no one responds if their is an actual emergency. Office opens at 9am and email responses get answered only then. Fortunately we worked through the emails received prior to arrival and found the electronic access (via a phone app) in an email link. If we hadn't had the phone we were sleeping in the hallway until 9am! Do not miss the opportunity to walk the neighborhood as the grocery store is right next door, and the Old Timber Mill is not to be missed! The bus to Oslo (or the local terminal) runs every 10 minutes, stops in front of the apartment, and connections to everywhere are many. An entirely great visit and we hope that the communication and contact information improves, because emergencies do happen, and at 3 am, no answer is not a good response, nor a great impression...

Very clean, modern large room with a good sized fridge and small freezer. There were 3 large windows that gave the room lots of light and fresh air. There were also fans if we needed. The desk area was fully equipped with glasses, mugs and a pot for heating water. The building is in a great location, 8 min walk to the train station and just a half a block to the main pedestrian street with all the shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall excellent stay. Breakfast was amazing! Room on the small side but wonderful view-greatly enjoyed our stay!

The rooms are quite small, there's nowhere to put anything in the bathrooms. There wasn't a single shelf or spot to put something in the shower, even though I know that we usually have larger bathrooms in the US. Even at the sink it was challenging to store our basics. The beds are ok; the split sheets are a bit annoying and the pillows are tiny. The rooms themselves block a lot of the hallway noise which was great. The breakfast was great, lots of options and long hours. The location is dead center in the tourist area, so if that's where you want to be it's very convenient. All the staff we interacted with was quite friendly.

I liked this motel - the room was comfortable & well designed. The room was clean & I liked having a window with a view. The location was great. The only thing I would like is there to have been a keetle to make a cup of tea or coffee.
