"It's a clean place the people are very helpful and friendly that own it. The grass out in front of the cabins needs attention especially because of being dog friendly. Small dogs have problems walking through uncut high grass. The owners do try to help you with anything you might need. Would I stay here again, yes if I come this way again."

"We really enjoyed our time together with friends that had also rented a unit! The porch was the best! Only one thing seemed to need some work and that was the oven. It never heated up past say 200 degrees. The broiler did work. The oven light also was broken. Good luck replacing that cute little oven! Thanks for sharing your cute little cabin."

"The things we liked about the property where the views are spectacular from the large windows and the wrap around deck. Truely amazing! The host was the fastest responder to a message in the inbox ever. He reminded me of me. The fire pit and hot tub area was fun and relaxing. The game barn is exceptional especially for a family fun time with climate control A/C. (Maybe just level up the pool table a bit) The large TV is great for watching and waiting for your turn on the ping pong table. Also, it has been a long time since I played Galaga on the video game console. The location of the property is great and near many nice towns like Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, and Beech Mountain. Not to mention Watauga Lake Recreation area just across into TN and about 45-minute drive for boating, fishing and swimming. We went there 2 of the days we stayed at the Overlook property and really enjoyed the lake. Note that the drive up to the house is steep and curvy for a short distance but at the same time fun and to get to those views well worth it. Don't miss The Tin Trout and Puerto Nuevo Mexican restaurants. If you like to hike well there is more than you could handle in the area. First time to Grandfather Mountain and very glad we made the trip. I could go on but I am running out of the allotted characters. Oh yeah let me mention my Mini Goldendoodle Lincoln really had a great time at the property and the hiking as well."
