When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a lovely lady who was kind and polite.She gave my daughter a colour set which was a nice touch.We mentioned it was my partners birthday as she was asking about our day so she then gave him a voucher for a free drink which again was a nice thing to do. Our room was really nice, spacious and clean. Then we went to get some food, it was very busy. There seemed to be 3 people serving. We ordered food on the tablet provided. However the food took almost an hour to arrive, they brought some meals out then to waiters were serving other tables their meals,then 10 minutes later they arrived with our last meal.My pizza was luke warm and half the cheese on top had not melted properly, we couldn't find anyone to ask for some help with this.My daughter wanted a dessert but again trying to find someone to order this was impossible. My partner waited at the kitchen door to catch someone coming out, she came to our table to check which icecream so I asked her how long it would take, she said 10 minutes, the kitchen is very busy.I asked for it straight away we had waited so long for the food and my daughter needed to go to bed.She brought it within about 5minutes so that was better.She told us we would need to pay downstairs due to the free drinks voucher as she knew nothing about that. This took sometime. No apologies for the late food. They were just massively understaffed but communicating this would be better, make people aware of the wait.
