"Enjoyed our stay in the deluxe yurt. Had a mini fridge, sink and tv with cable. Bathroom was right across the parking lot. Only thing I would say is the full futon bed was very uncomfortable so we ended up sleeping in the bunk bed cause they were actual mattresses. This RV park is super close to Jedediah smith state park and 15min away from crescent city. Great location. "

"Amazing property, had everything I could need to have a nice stay. I enjoyed the outdoor areas with the grill and fire pit setup. We enjoyed relaxing out there with the river right next to us after a long day hiking in the Redwood forests"
The Groundskeeper's Cabin: A peaceful retreat with all the amenities of home.
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice property conveniently located off the main road and easy access to northern section of Redwoods National and State Parks. The home is very well designed making it feel bigger than it is and we really enjoyed the outdoor space. Thoughtful host that left cookies and information on sites in the area. Very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. "
"Family get together of 10 adults, spanning 3 generations (ages 22-87). The house was perfect, with 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, so everyone felt they had their personal space and privacy. At the same time, the kitchen and dining room were enormous with large windows that framed this incredible view (the forest and riversunset stunning!)Note that the outdoor space was lovely too, lots of chairs where you can sit, enjoy your wine/beer/mineral water along with the stunning view. At night, the Big Dipper literally fills the sky. There's also a fire pit for s'mores in the evenings. The location is great as you're very close to many gorgeous hikes and river access for swimming. Note that you do need to drive, but just a mile or two (walking is possible but there are no sidewalks, so would not recommend). Grocery shopping and restaurants are mostly in Crescent City proper, about a 15 minute drive. The first night we used DoorDash, but cooked all other nights. The kitchen is well equipped.Lastly, Chris (the host) was responsive and really nice (e.g., if you text him with questions, he responds promptly. He also came by to say hello and gave us a little history about the house --very cool. Ask him to recommended a salmon captain because we did and caught two huge and tasty king salmon in Oregon that was about an hour coastal-view drive from the house).Overall, an amazing trip. Everyone loved the house and had a great time."
