"A great place to stay! Technically a small house, it still felt very spacious for four people. Everything was clean and well kept. The property was beautiful and private. The location was also great; we never had to drive more than 20 minutes to get anyway. I would definitely recommend!"

![The plantation received its name because it was the location of Captain John Smith's "New Fort," built in 1609, located directly across the James River from the Jamestown colony.
