"Our favorite place to stay in Ames! The location can’t be beat. But that wouldn’t mean much if it weren’t also clean, with good food and amenities, nice employees, and chill atmosphere. I’ve neglected to give such a great review before because it can be full on busy weekends and we’ve had to go to our 2nd fave place (Gateway), but our last ISU kid is about to graduate, so we can share the secret now. "We had an excellent stay here! We got to enjoy the pool for a little bit and even though it is smaller, it is perfect for relaxing. The room was perfect for us and breakfast was excellent. We loved the lobby, the kids got to play tons of games while we got to hang out with friends. The complementary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and flavored water was wonderful for the kids as well. There are also plenty of snacks and other drinks that you can purchase as well that are not just your regular vending machine snacks. The staff was very friendly and stayed on top if everything. We will absolutely be back for another stay! "
