"The location of this hotel is a great spot. The room itself along with the hotel is well maintained and comfortable. The availability of the laundry machines along with access to the rooftop with an amazing view just adds as a bonus. Only issue that we had was the air conditioning wasn't working properly but it may have been an error on our end due to language barrier which was fine regardless. Amazing hotel! Would come back again."

"The location is good, the rooms are large, the buffet breakfast is excellent. But the hotel is old and dated. The furniture in the rooms is chipped and scratched. Worst of all, you can’t adjust the room temperature. It was unpleasantly warm at night. For that reason alone, I wouldn’t stay again. What could be more important in a hotel room than a good night’s sleep? "

"This is in a prime location from Sugamo Station. Only about 2 minutes walk that makes it very convenient. Check in and check out is flawless. The bath at the top of the building is always a plus. 3 things that they can improve is to maybe have a air purifier in the room to trap the dust, be able to control the room temperature to your liking (somehow it was either heat or cold but can't control which one you want), and the number of laundry machines. I stayed 4 nights but never saw the laundry available until the day I checked out. "

"A very clean welcoming hotel. Everyday I get a bag with clean towels and clean Yukata and new toiletterie accessories ( q-tips, cotton pads, wash cloth, toothpaste toothbrush razor shower cap and extra cups with coffee, tea, creamer, sugar and long spoon. Bed are elevated to store luggage’s but there are no closet no dresser to place your clothes. Just a wall mirror with hooks and sleepers storage. Fridge and kettle. Bath is great clean. Well maintained. Spa is avalaible too. Breakfast included with voucher to use every morning on the date written on it. Breakfast is euro and Asian simple and good"

"We got a double room and it was really small, uncomfortably small for my partner, I and 2 year old son. They probably shouldn’t offer it for family with kids. Despite the room being very small, it had all you would need, but we found it very uncomfortable and that is the reason for our rating. Nonetheless the facilities were very good with free laundry and lovely onsen, free drinks and lots of complimentary items to use during your stay. It’s location is amazing too very close to the station. Staff is lovely and helpful. I would stay again in a bigger room. "

"The rooms are clean, like everything in Japan. Breakfast average, not much variety. Staff - horrible experience at front desk at check out - I scheduled online luggage transportation on the website link provided by the hotel - the guy did not believe me the company can take my bags to Kyoto - then he didn’t believe the service is same day delivery despite me showing him step by step how I did the booking and showing him the confirmation email from the company. He insisted to call the company and argued with them on the phone for 10-15 min, almost as he didn’t believe them as well. We almost missed our departure to Mt Fuji because of him!!"
