Great Hotel

Very great Hotel. We always stay here when we visit in Solingen. Great Staff who help you with anything you need. We can only highly recommend this place

Very friendly staff. Amazing breakfast. Average room, but clean. 1 lift for all; stairs area tends to smell of cigarette smoke since downstairs door to rear garden is open most of the time. I had a standard room which means it was to the front where the train tracks are. I didn't actually find the occasional train passing by to be as noisy as people had warned me about. Plus, the hotel provides one with ear plugs should one have a light sleep. I do have a light sleep and I had the window open all night but really, it was not that noisy. It is conveniently situated, about 15 minutes walk to Solingen main station and downtown Ohligs.

Der Kühlschrank ist mega laut. Im Zimmer ist keine Tür dazwischen, dass man den hören muss. Ich hab 2 Mal hier übernachtet. Ich konnte nie gut schlafen.

Sehr gut für einen Kurzaufenthalt geeignet

Alles was es für unseren Kurzaufenthalt (1 Übernachtung) brauchte, war vorhanden. Das Zimmer war modern und zweckmässig eingerichtet, Betten hervorragend, alles sauber und ansprechend. Bei unserer Ankunft war die Rezeption wie angekündigt geschlossen. Der Check-In klappte problemlos mit den per Mail übermittelten Informationen. Frühstück konnte spontan am nächsten Morgen dazu gebucht werden. Höfliche und freundliche Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption.

Das Hotel hat insgesamt einen sehr guten Eindruck gemacht. Das Zimmer sehr geräumig und sogar mit Badewanne. Eun Kühlschrank ist vorhanden und dazu noch eine Flasche Wasser gratis. Das Einzige, was ein bisschen gestört hat ist, das man die Verdunklungsvorhänge nicht so zu machsn konnte das es wirklich dunkel war. Das Frühstück war dafür wieder sehr gut und abwechslungsreich.

Der Service durch das Personal ist super. Es sind alle freundlich und lösungsorientiert zur Stelle. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und die Nähe zu den ICE und Gütergleisen macht es nicht gerade zur Erholungsreise. Für geschäftliche Reisen oder Montageübernachtungen ist es aber trotzdem gut, weil der Preis stimmt und in dem Zimmer ein Kühlschrank u.a. vorhanden ist.

Wenn es besser gerochen hätte, dann wäre es okay.

Ich hatte schon mal ein besseres Zimmer in dem Hotel, leider roch es diesmal etwas unangenehm im Zimmer. Dass das Zimmer direkt zu den Bahngleisen war hat mich nicht gestört. Frühstück, 8 € :-( ist gut, leckere Brötchen usw. Leider sitzt man mit zig Leuten im Frühstücksraum, ohne offene Fenster, gerade zu Corona Zeiten nicht so toll.

Sauberes einfaches Hotel mit gutem Frühstücksbuffet. Etwas laut, da an der Bahnlinie gelegen, aber sonst ok. Parkplätze sind begrenzt und die Tiefgarage recht eng.

An Komfort, Service und Sauberkeit gibt es wenig auszusetzen, abgesehen vom Einzelblattspender in der Toilette. Ich fand allerdings nur wenig Nachtschlaf, da umnittelbar vor dem Hotel eine mehrgleisige Bahnstrecke vorbei führt. Es gibt zwar schalldämmende Fenster und auf dem Kopfkissen lagen statt der üblichen Gummibärchen Ohrstopfen, was in Summe aber nur wenig Abhilfe brachte.

Gut: Saubere Zimmer mit Standardausstattung, Für jeden Gast gab es eine Flasche Wasser. Kaffee und warme Getränke waren kostenfrei an der Rezeption erhältlich. Weniger gut: Das Hotel liegt direkt an einer Bahnlinie, Zimmer zum Hof wären bei gleicher Ausstattung 10 € teurer gewesen. Ohrstöpsel gab es, die helfen aber nur bedingt

The room, foyer, breakfast room was very modern and clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the price for the room and breakfast was moderate. The downside was the location. Parking was a bit of a challenge and the hotel was right next to train tracks. Therefore, it was quite noisy. All in all, I greatly enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in diesem Hotel ist OK, alles im grünen Bereich, vor allem das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Allerdings ist die Lage direkt an der Bahn sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig und wer einen leichten Schlaf hat wird Probleme haben. Im Internetauftritt wird suggeriert jedes Zimmer hätte eine kleine Küche - das war wohl auch mal so, wurde aber zurückgebaut wie man sieht. Tee und Kaffee also umsonst eingepackt. Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig, der Kaffee lecker, da habe ich für mehr Geld schon deutlich schlechter Gefrühstückt. Insgesamt war alles in Ordnung!

Mein Zimmer 102 war eine Zumutung. 1. Es war glaube ich ,daß wärmste Zimmer des ganzen Hotels, auf meine Anfrage ob ich einen Ventilator bekommen könnte, wurde mir entgegnet das diese Möglichkeiten nicht bestehen würde. 2.Sehr lautes Zimmer weil 30 Meter vom Zimmerfenster eine DB Bahnstrecke vorbei führt.
