The location was ideal. We felt part of the Centre of Sorrento. Our rooms were very clean and modern. Loredana was very accomading, friendly and service oriented. Breakfast was very punctual filling and just right especially with cappuccino and expresso made fresh at the rooftop with a view. Stairs are a bit of a challenge for older less mobile individuals. Church is next door however the bells did not bother us. Lovely place and best location right in the middle of all the action, music, shopping, dining, ambiance. The Ferry to Capri was only a 10 min. Walk which was very convenient and saved us money, no taxi needed. Finally, Loredana even helped my parents with their luggage and brought us to the taxi location about 500 yards away. Thank you! 👌

I will second what a few others have said, Loredana is the reason we are giving this high of a review. She was so sweet and helpful and really made our stay enjoyable. The room in itself was great and very clean. The reason for our less than excellent review was that our room was loud as we were on the second floor next to the very busy pedestrian street. We were there Friday-Monday, Friday and Saturday nights were almost impossible to sleep even with headphones or earplugs, so just a fair warning to light sleepers. If your stay is not during the weekend or if noise doesn’t bother you then I’d recommend staying here because of the convenient location and because Loredana is so great.

This was a great option right on Corso Italia street, the main avenue connecting the old square, and easy walk to main port. The area itself is where all the action in the city takes place. If you want to be in the center, This is it. Room: Very nice and clean, Ac in room. Large bathroom and everything is super clean. Great stay and location for the money.

This place was SO NICE! We did 6 different hotels at different places throughout Italy and this was hands down our favorite! The host was incredibly nice and helpful, the place was so clean, modern, and cute! Located in literally the perfect area. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Aside from the terrific location on the pedestrian only street the host Lori was truly exceptional. We corresponded by text and phone prior to our arrival and she made us feel very welcome. She started breakfast earlier twice in order for us to get on a tour for the day and to have an early departure on another day to catch our train. The room was large, extremely clean and a comfortable bed with good reading lights. My wife and I spent three nights there and we highly recommended this accommodation.

Location! Location! Location!
Amazing first class B&B in the historic center and walkable to/from train station as well as restaurants and bus to Amalfi coast. Rooms are very clean and decorated nicely. Front desk staff was just lovely, so friendly and helpful! Excellent breakfast with nice choices and beautiful views.

Amazing location!!! Our hostess/manager (Laura?) went above and beyond to help us navigate Sorrento and the surrounding areas. Room is simple but comfortable, and very clean. We had our white noise app, so the noise from the street did not bother us. The church bells do wake you up, but I think that’s the case in all properties in Sorrento. I believe the first bells rang at 7:30am. Didn’t bother us though; didn’t go there to sleep.

Our stay at Residenza Il Campanile was absolutely wonderful! The location was in the heart of Sorrento, in a stunning building. Our room was beautiful (high end fixtures, very clean, and quite large). The property is extremely well kept, and the front desk lady was very kind and sweet. I would highly recommend staying at this property in Sorrento! We will definitely be back again!

We have had the best experience! Lorrie is an amazing hotel manager. From the moment we placed our booking she was attentive to all our needs. She is the most charismatic, kind and caring person we’ve met. A rare find within hospitality these days. The rooms were comfy, extremely clean and always smelt lovely and fresh. We loved the convenience of being right in the heart of Sorrento. Really useful to be able to pop in and out of the hotel to drop off shopping or cool down from the heat of the day. Amazing location on a pedestrian street and close to many restaurants and shops. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was great. The host Loredana is super helpful and provided great tips on things to do and helped organize a day trip for us to nearby Amalfi and Ravello.

We had an amazing stay. Room was clean with a gorgeous view. Air conditioning worked well in the late July heat. Loredana was incredible with recommendations and helping with breakfast. Location couldn’t be better - quick walk from the train and right in the heart of Sorrento. We hope to come back!

Loredana (property manager) was the best thing about this place. She was very helpful and nice. The property/room was good (clean and comfortable). We hated the noise between 7pm and midnight. To be fair and clear, we stayed there from Friday to Monday and our room was situated on the 2nd floor, directly over the main square in this touristy district. The church conducted a charity event with live musicians so we were basically in the front row of this concert from 7pm to midnight. We were not able to sleep or even talk because the only thing we could hear was the music. Without the noise, our rating would have been a 5. Without Loredana, our rating would have been a 1.

Loredana the property manager was fantastic. She stayed during her break to welcome me and check me into the hotel. the hotel was spotlessly clean and in a great location with plenty of restaurants and shops available and just a short walk from the train station.

Loredana was so great and gave us great advice upon our arrival. The rooms were amazing and I loved the adjoining rooms. The only complaint is the noise. The hotel was on the main strip so at night it was very loud and they were doing construction at the church around midnight. That was my least favorite thing about the hotel.

Excellent place- Lorendina was extremely kind, polite and helpful.- a true gem. The room was immaculately clean and very pleasant. Overlooking the street but was quiet. The only issue I had was internet issues at times which could have been weather related. I most definitely recommend this place and will stay there again during my next trip to beautiful Sorrento

Hidden Gem in Sorrento
This was such a wonderful place to stay in Sorrento. Amazing location, lovely room with a great vibe. Breakfast on the roof every morning was a great way to wake up. Loredana was amazing - she was so helpful, and gave us such great recommendations from beach clubs to local restaurants. I would definitely stay again!

Beautiful view from comfortable room in Sorrento
Clean, comfortable room with beautiful view of a main street in Sorrento. It was a shame that the property was advertised with breakfast included when we were told at the property that they are not serving breakfast now due to Covid. This should be changed on the Hotels.com booking information as it is currently not mentioned clearly and we made this booking because we thought breakfast would be included.

Lovely accommodation in a central location. Room and bathroom were clean, bright, fully equipped and of a good size. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was served on the rooftop and was good. I had no hot water day 1 but this was sorted once reported. I would return and recommend this hotel.

We visited from Australia with family and loved our stay, it’s position is central to Sorrento walking distance to everything, the bell tower is unique,(the bells do not ring all night) the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff are polite and friendly very willing to help. There are stairs but staff will help with luggage if needed. Recommend this accommodation for couples, friends and family.

Great Stay in Sorrento
We had a wonderful stay here. Loredana couldn’t have been more accommodating and always went the extra mile to provide recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. The room was clean and comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was nice but could have used more variety (mostly bread and cake). We would definitely stay here again when back in Sorrento.

Very good location and nice accommodations. Loredana and Julia were very nice and accommodating (even kept our luggage for two days in storage while we went to Capri). Breakfast is basic and because you are in the center, there is plenty of noise to contend with. You will also hear the church bells as well.
