and the area around was excellent. We were given a suite on check in which seemed great. However, the room was very dated and the shower door didn't stop the water from leaking out so we had water all over the bathroom, in the foyer to the room and in danger of seeping out into the corridor. It's a real shame because the hotel is in a fabulous location. Just be prepared that it's days of being a 4**** hotel are long past."
