"Stayed in Room 4. Small room and ensuite bathroom. The room was clean, and there were tea and coffee facilities. There were however a number of maintenance issues, the lock on the door was loose, the rack to hang your clothes on had come loose at the top end. Looking at previous reviews these issues were picked up on a review posted two years ago. The main light would only occasionally work if you banged the light fitting (not ideal as this could be due to loose wires). Shower had very little flow and was more of a drip than a shower. We thought the nightly rate was high for the standard of the property and lack of breakfast."

"Willow Cottage was a great base for our week away exploring Yorkshire (including a fantastic day at The Great Yorkshire Show). James et al were accomodating in every way and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage has a well equipped Kitchen with some essentials, and plenty of storage space throughout. A handy welcome booklet, some local attraction leaflets and local OS map are supplied which came on very useful when thinking up of ideas to entertain our young kids. Harrogate/Knaresborough are worth an explore and only an easy 30 minutes drive, and we were closer to York than initially thought. A lovely stay, would highly recommend. "
