The Bath Hotel Lynmouth

"We ensured we arrived before 17.00 hours as the hotel has no-one on reception from 17.00hrs onwards. We felt this was a little restrictive although the Ancient Mariner staff were available to a later time in the evening. We found it convenient to have restaurant and bar food available at the Ancient Mariner and can thoroughly recommend it too. Breakfast is served between 8.00 and 10.00, a decent interval of time. The staff were pleasant and friendly but service for the hot food was a little slow at times. The choice of cereals, juices, fruit, croissants was plentiful and the hot food was very tasty. The room was not huge (after all we were in the 'Snug'!) but it was sufficient, while a second comfy chair would have been welcome. The WiFi worked perfectly well. The hotel was a very convenient base for exploring the beautiful local area. Again, the staff were good at directing us to the local car-parks and advising us we might consider a 4 day pass from the tourist office, Worth noting that car-parking is free by the roadside from 1st November to Good Friday."

"We had a fantastic stay at Oaklands with extended family for my son’s 21st birthday. It was perfect for our needs. We loved the large round table that seats 14. The access is slightly steep but was managed with some assistance by my 87 year old grandmother. We managed a game of darts one evening in the barn. The grounds and surrounding areas really are stunning. Peter was most helpful and access and instructions were clear. We managed some surfing, paddle boarding and beautiful hikes around Valley of the rocks/Watersmeet during our weekend away. I would definitely book again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Rockford Lodge. The location is stunning as it sits right on the river and we had the most wonderful daily dog walks and runs to Watersmeet and the beautiful national trust cafe there. The cottage was very cosy and comfortable with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Our host Lucy was very helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend staying and would love to return. Thank you for a lovely stay c"

"Beautiful, quiet, clean and well equipped cottage No welcome pack on arrival, which was very unusual, especially given that we were quite away from a grocery store.Windows were a tad dirty and there was dust in the bathrooms from the decorating- all passed onto Teresa.We had an amazing few days at Ashton Cottage and it was a very peaceful location, would definitely recommend.Thank you "

"Clean cosy cottage. Open fire a nice feature but central heating worked well too. Comfortable bed, maybe a bedside lamp for both sides good idea. Everything we needed in kitchen except a tea pot! Great location for exploring Exmoor and coastal walks. The Staghunters Inn just down the road serves excellent local beer, great pub grub and friendly staff. Looking forward to coming and staying again."

"Owlscombe is without doubt, one of the best holiday rentals we've stayed at. We were a party of 8 adults for an annual get together. It was immaculately clean and extremely well equipped. We took a few kitchen utensils with us, as we were cooking on a few days, but we really didn't need to. Stuart thought of everything. Of course the icing on the cake were the magnificent views. from the kitchen/family area.... just stunning! We all hope to return in the future."

"Fab property in a great location. We, and our two dogs, spent 4 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The bed is so comfy! In an ideal world a bit more space in the entrance hall would have been useful for towelling down the dogs after walks, but we managed and it definitely won’t put us off coming back. "
