"We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place."

"Hotel main areas were well kept. Bedroom was a little tired, and needs tidying up/ updating. Breakfast was really good, so was the evening meal. Cost for the room was very reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking cost £10 a night. Question would be would we stay again, the answer is yes."

The shower was very small and the door was difficult to. close and open once inside It. The bed was too soft and kept moving away from the wall. The room was very hot even with the window open which made it difficult to sleep. However, the breakfast was very good. It was a buffet with my favourite tinned tomatoes an option. Also there was a proper toater"
