"Fosshotel Barón fit our needs perfectly. My family of 4 (parents, 10 and 12 year-old boys) needed a place to stay for 1 night in Reykjavik at the end of our week exploring Iceland. We had the family suite with 1 king bed for us and another room with bunk beds for the kiddos. Other than our room not being quite ready at the 3pm check in time, the hotel was perfect. They were very accommodating in allowing us to store our luggage at arrival and at departure. Everything was comfortable. The location was near (but not right in the middle) of the shops/restaurants of downtown Reykjavik. The breakfast was pretty standard hotel stuff. All in all, nothing spectacular but perfect for what we needed. "

"Great place to stay on the harbor just a short walk down to the main shopping area and attractions downtown. I really nice quaint neighborhood across the street has a corner market. And the restaurants and coffee shop right outside are great. "
