"The room size was comfortable enough for our needs, and everything was very clean. The location near the airport was really convenient, especially since we only used it for an overnight stay. However, the photos were a bit misleading—it looked like the room had an extra bed that wasn’t actually there. Overall, it worked well for a short stay, but the listing could be more accurate."

"Good size room. Well situated. We had a beautifull view from the room. Contact went really smooth, we asked for extra pillows and they were brought immediately. It is quite close to a busy road, so traffic is hearable. Had to close the window at night."

The staff went above and beyond on everything — check in, dinner (amazing), breakfast (huge variety all fresh), suggestions and tips for our travel, information about Iceland history, northern lights wake up call, to name a few. "For the price this hotel was not appealing from the outside. Inside I stood in line 20+ minutes to simply check in, only 1 person receiving. Over priced."

"If I event make it back to Iceland, we will ONLY stay at the Foss Hotels. This was magnificent! The sauna and hot tubs were so clean and nice, the restaurant is 5 star and was our splurge for the trip, worth every penny. The entire hotel is absolutely beautiful. The beds were the most comfortable and we stayed at 7 hotels over our 10 day stay. This is the only place we felt comfortable to shower without sandals. The cost is more than reasonable considering we paid the same everywhere else and questioned everything we touched. The waterfall out back is worth the little hike through the gate, it was so beautiful. We saw rainbows at dinner and it feels like a little piece of heaven hidden in Iceland. I would love to see the other Foss Hotels and will be recommending this to everyone who travels there. Thank you for such a memorable stay!"

"Just book it!! We stayed in a few hotels in the area, and this one exceeded our expectations by far. The location is tucked at the end of Vik, and if you get a mountain room your morning views are breathtaking. The beds are comfortable, extra pillows, and blackout curtains. We even had our laundry done overnight for approx $50 CAD, and I’m telling you this was well worth it, especially given the weather. The breakfast, the views from breakfast were delightful. We loved this even more than the Vik Hotel!"

"Stayed here twice. The first time was wonderful. The second time was good, but the staff member who checked us in was slow and unfriendly. We were told that we paid for breakfast when we booked the room, but she informed us that there was a mistake. I’m not sure what happened, but she made no attempt to make it better. She wasn’t rude, but she wasn’t very friendly either. Oh, well. Iceland was magical and she was the only slight inconvenience that we encountered. Can’t have it all."
