"Our family had a great week at this amazing home. We loved the pool and outdoor space. We lived poolside for the week. The kitchen was well stocked and inspiring to cook in. Communication with the hosts was timely and easy. We made awesome family memories and hope to return. The kids said their beds were so comfy. The primary bedroom, bath and closet were a retreat unto themselves. We did not mind the distance from 'town' - got used to it and appreciated the adventure. All around a wonderful week - highly recommend. "

"We stayed here for 6 nights with three families. The house is beautiful, well-furnished, and the location worked well for our group. The rooftop patio was a highlight with amazing sunset and sunrise views.Unfortunately, the pool was not functional when we arrived. The vacuum was disconnected, the water level was too low for the equipment to operate, and the auto-fill system wasn't working. We reported the issue on Day 1 (Saturday), but the pool company doesn't work weekends and couldn't come until Tuesday afternoon. In the meantime, we spent multiple days troubleshooting on behalf of the host, including running hoses, monitoring water levels, and photographing equipment through constant back-and-forth on the VRBO app. The pool wasn't fully usable until Wednesday, giving us two days of use out of a 6-night stay.If you're booking this property for the pool, which was our primary reason, just be aware that if something goes wrong it may require significant time and effort on your part to get it resolved. We eventually received a partial refund through VRBO, which we appreciated.Great house with a lot of potential, but the pool maintenance and turnover process needs improvement."

"Great to be back at the Casita. House was set up great for our family traveling with dogs. Location is beautiful and lends well to star gazing at night when it cools down. Views of surrounding mountains are beautiful. Pool was such a wonderful treat after riding in the heat at McDowell and Browns. The grill is always full of propane and ready to start. Steve and his wife are great hosts offering all kinds of local knowledge and hospitality. We’ll be back! Thanks for an amazing week."
