"Our four poster room was amazing, clean and tidy, with a nice view overlooking the Abbey. The staff were polite and welcoming. The food was excellent and the buffet breakfast was delicious. The bar at night was very good and relaxing with seating available indoors or outdoors on the balcony. Definitely will be staying here again"

"The property, decoration, fittings, fixtures and furnishings are quite dated, don't expect a modern contemporary hotel. That said, the property is undergoing a programme of repair and refurbishment, it looks like a long job. The hotel was perfectly adequate for our short stay, we didn't have dinner but what we saw looked delicious, we can vouch the same for breakfast in which we did partake. Would we stop again, yes I think we would."

Debbie checked us in and was fantastic and gave us some great pointers of where to eat out on our first night. We chose the Ellerby Country Inn( was fantastic). The room was immaculate and the bed was so comfy. The staff were all friendly and if you passed by them, they would ask if we needed anything or had a nice day. The featured rooms were brilliant. We stayed in Venice, with a bed shaped like a boat and a huge spa bath. Everything was spot on and more! Breakfast was included, with lots to choose from. We would definitely stay here again.
