In Specchia, just a few kilometers from the sea, among the centuries-old olive trees on the slopes of the Salento greenhouses, in one of the 98 small most beautiful villages in Italy, stands an elegant country building surrounded by greenery.
For a holiday in absolute tranquility we offer a stay in an old restored "suppinna", once a temporary residence of the workers who worked in the neighboring underground oil mill, an annex of an old "Casino" also restored in the country.
"Verardo" was originally a large farm planted with olive groves owned by the old feudal lord on which an underground oil mill was dug for the olive mill with a "casino" that housed the owner and a "suppinna" for the workers. Over time the farm has been split up and sold to several owners. The owner of the quota on which the "Casino", the "hypogeum oil press" and the "suppinna" insists insisted on restoring everything to create a home per se and an outbuilding to be offered for rent for the summer period.

Good location for discovering the south of Salento

Quite place but in walking distance to the town center of Specchia. The Adriatic and Ionian Sea coast are not far and also the cities of Gallipoli, Otranto, Lecce, Otranto and Santa Maria do Leica. Nice holiday home with a "private" pool. Specchia is an nice town with several good restaurants. Anna Maria the host reacts fast and is available when needed, but keeps you privat.

Wir hatten schöne Urlaubstage. Alles war wie beschrieben. Außer das der Pool nicht direkt im Ferienobjekt integriert war. Das war mit Hund etwas umständlich, zumal der Poolbereich nicht komplett eingezäunt war. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und freundlich. 👍😊

Un séjour inoubliable!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Masseria Verardo Mansion! La propriété est vraiment magnifique, elle bénéficie d'un charme fou. La piscine et le jardin invitent au repos et à la détente dans un site paradisiaque. Les propriétaires nous ont vraiment bien accueillis et ont été aux petits soins avec nous (à l'écoute de nos demandes, conseils, découverte des spécialités culinaires locales...). Côté habitation, l'essentiel est là pour un bon séjour (bonne literie, terrasse ombragée, cuisine équipée,...). La localisation de la location est parfaite pour rayonner sur l'ensemble du Salento. Nous recommandons vivement cette location. Nos amitiés et remerciements à toute la famille

VACANZA DI RELAX

Io, mia moglie Stefania e il nostro cane Bea, ci siamo trovati benissimo in questo appartamento con giardino. I proprietari ci hanno accolto con dei bellissimi fichi d'india pronti per essere degustati e poi nel corso del soggiorno ci hanno dato degli ottimi consigli sui ristoranti, luoghi e spiagge da visitare. Bellissima anche la piscina situata nel giardino della masseria e facilmente accessibile dall'appartamento. Tutto molto bello e consigliatissimo.

Belles vacances !

Le séjour a été très agréable. Nous avions particulièrement apprécié la disponibilité de Annamaria. La piscine et le jardin sont très bien entretenus. Nous avons pu profiter des équipements sans retenue : machine à laver et barbecue. Les villages et plages environnants sont magnifiques. Les commerces sont à proximité.

Ruhige und erholsame Tage

Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen hier verbracht. Der Pool war ein absolutes Highlight . Die Gastgeber sind äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die frischen Zitronen und Feigen aus dem hauseigenen Garten haben wir sehr genossen. Positiv überrascht waren wir über die vielen ausserordentlich guten Restaurants in Specchia. Wir waren rundum zufrieden - einzige Negativpunkte - das WLAN hat nicht funktioniert und die Matratzen sind etwas hart.

Nous sommes très contents d’avoir séjourné dans ce petit coin de paradis. La location est en pleine nature, et très calme, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Le lieu est magique avec de magnifiques plantes et fleurs et une superbe piscine bien entretenue. Les propriétaires sont gentils et tres discrets. Charmante propriété au calme idéalement située

Une très belle propriété, très soignée où nous avons été très bien accueillis. Idéalement située pour visiter le sud des "pouilles", toutes les villes et villages ainsi que les 2 côtes sont accessibles facilement et rapidement. Au retour de journées bien remplies nous avons apprécié le calme et la tranquilité ainsi que la magnifique piscine qui est à usage privatif. Les propriétaires sont très discrets et d'une très grande gentillesse et générosité. Toute la famille est ravie de ce séjour et nous remercions Anna Maria et son mari pour leurs attentions.

séjour magique dans le Sud des Pouilles

Nous revenons d'un séjour de 10 jours dans cet établissement. La maison n'est pas très grande mais dispose d'une grande terrasse ombragée et surtout d'ne piscine digne des Thermes Romains ( totalement privative , ce qui ne gâche rien!) Nous remercions nos hôtes pour leur gentillesse et les bonnes adresses renseignées. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié leur discrétion. La maison est un peu excentrée du centre de Specchia, une voiture est donc indispensable. Le lieu est très bien situé pour visiter le sud des Pouilles. Hébergement à recommandés pour familles, en sachant qu'il n'y a qu'une seule chambre et une autre pièce avec trois lits simples. le seul bémol serait la qualité des matelas: lit un peu trop dur mais le reste nous fait très vite oublier ce petit inconvénient. A recommander vivement et merci encore à nos hôtes.

Formidable!

Nous avons été magnifiquement reçus par Anna Maria et sa famille. L'annexe dans laquelle nous logions, même si un peu désuette dans sa décoration, était parfaite : intime, calme, complètement autonome, avec tout ce qu'il faut au niveau aménagement (cuisine, machine, terrasse, jardin, mobilier etc - attention, les lits était pê un peu durs). Nous avons pu profiter de manière privative de la jolie piscine. Et nous avons pu goûter aux excellents produits des arbres fruitiers et du potager! Ce fut une vraie semaine de bonheur. La région est superbe : plages, Tarento, Gallipolli, Maglie...Et Specchia une très mignonne petite ville. Nous retournerons avec plaisir chez Anna Maria.

La location est très propre, les propriétaires sont tres gentils et discrets. Une bonne situation pour visiter les alentours et aller à la plage avec l'avantage d'être au calme le soir. Nous avons eu des tomates et des figues fraîches du jardin. La piscine est aussi très propre.

Calme et beauté du Salento

Un excellent séjour en famille du 23 au 30 juillet 2016. La maison est conforme à l'annonce, très propre et parfaitement équipée. L'accueil des propriétaires a été chaleureux et ils nous ont gentiment fait profiter des délicieux fruits et légumes du jardin. Belle piscine.Très calme la maison est un peu excentrée du centre du village. Voiture indispensable. Je recommande pour une famille ou entre amis.

Fantastico!

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana in questa casa immersa nella natura e consiglio a tutti di scegliere un luogo così fuori dal caos inevitabile intorno alle località di mare, ma anche così vicino alle più belle spiagge del Salento. La casa è perfetta in tutto, giusta per 4 persone, con una cucina comoda, un bel bagno, letti nuovi e biancheria pulita e profumata. C'è anche una lavanderia! Lo spazio esterno è meraviglioso, con una zona verde e un bel patio all'ombra di una vite! Doccia esterna, aria condizionata, insomma tutto quello che serve per sentirsi a proprio agio e godersi la vacanza. La proprietaria è stata gentile e disponibile, ma anche molto discreta. La piscina era a nostra completa disposizione!! Vale anche la pena fare un salto a visitare il paese che è un tipico comune salentino, con palazzi in pietra leccese e ringhiere che sembrano decori! Insomma, questa piccola oasi di pace, fra gli ulivi di Specchia, è stata una sorpresa davvero magica! Ci torneremo! Grazie Anna!

Merveilleux séjour

La location est super: calme et avec tout le confort annoncé. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine quand nous voulions et en exclusivité. Anna Maria et Gino sont très gentils et d'une hospitalité remarquable: ils préservent notée intimité tout en étant présent en cas de besoin (ce qui a été notre cas suite à des soucis de voiture). Cerises sur le gâteau: Anna Maria nous a accueillis avec des figues du jardin, des gâteaux et des boissons fraîches puis Gino nous a cuisiné une merveilleuse recette typique à base de tomates à déguster chez nous. Vraiment une excellente adresse dans le magique salento.

host very welcoming-lovely home-quiet environment

We (3 children and parents) booked this lovely home for 1 week. Overall it was great, the location was really quiet, the garden was beautiful with a nice big swimming pool, the house was comfortable and very clean. The apartment had all that we needed. The host Anna Maria is a marvellous host, in her kindness she provided us among other things with cookies and beverages so we were immediately settled when we arrived. She gave us advice on what to do in the area and was really helpful towards us. We would certainly recommend this place to other travellers.

Bellissimo soggiorno!

La Masseria Verardo è godibilissima! Appartamento ideale, giardino esterno e zona per poter mangiare all'aperto molto gradevoli, splendido l'angolo piscina circondato dal verde e la piscina stessa una vera occasione di relax! Piacevole soggiorno alla scoperta del Salento

Appartamento più grazioso di quanto appaia nelle foto confortevole, pulito e ben attrezzato, con un bel giardino a propria disposizione con la doccia esterna. Piacevole il bagno in piscina al ritorno dalle varie escursione nel Salento, terra che sicuramente val la pena di visitare. Proprietari discreti e sempre disponibili.
