"You'll get your steps in (literally) every day as Positano has some steep walking and this hotel is no exception. But the view & space on the top floor was worth it if you can handle the daily workout. No elevator but there are chairs mid-way to rest haha. All of it helps walk off those big Italian dinners! If arriving with more than carry-on luggage, I recommend taking taxi directly to hotel instead of trying to walk from ferry."

"We have been to Positano a few times and every time we have stayed at Buca Di Bacco. The rooms have been recently refurbished and are lovely. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Everything is clean. The hotel staff is always welcoming and kind, ready to help with anything. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the bay is a highlight. And the Buca Di Bacco restaurant has delicious food - we are in love with the pasta with lemon sauce! All the waiters were fun and hospitable. The close proximity to the beach is another highlight. We loved that we didn’t have to climb the steep streets to get back to our hotel after our days out on the beach, and on boat excursions.
