"Pool with ideal water temperature of 31’C, 3 pools to be exact. One for kids, one spa!? And Olympic size. It’s just great temperature you get in with pleasant feeling but still let you cool off in hot weather just perfect. My apartment was very spacious with upstairs mezzanine bedroom. Outdoor space is just enormous! On the downside only 2 charging points(2 cars) it’s need more."

"We arrived in the afternoon and were greeted by the hosts parents, neither of whom spoke English. (The listing stated English was one of the languages spoken by the host.) So there was a bit of back and forth with Google translate to get things figured out but then we were all set. The parents were very friendly and helpful in getting us set up in spite of the language challenges.The apartment itself was very clean and well kept. It does only have one set of double doors that face the ocean view, and these are several steps down from the yard, So don't expect booming water views from inside the apartment.But once outside you get the whole water view experience, and there are multiple places to take advantage of these. Swimming pool, lounge chairs and a dining area, all with excellent views. We ate breakfast outside every day.Piombino itself was only a few minutes drive away and was a great little waterfront town. Now many foreign visitors while we were there. I got the impression this is mainly a coastal area for Italians to get away to, which was refreshing after having been in Provence and dealing with loads of tourists.Overall a great little basement apartment and a charming little town on the water."
