"Very nice small property right on the beach. They had few amenities but what they had was nice. They have a grill area with lots of dining like seating, small pool, ping pong table (it was too windy to play the 4 days we were there) a nice sitting area facing the beach and a hammock. I think laundry facilities are available too but didn't use them. The staff was very nice and even got our ball out of a tree for us."

"The hotel has a lot of pools (although the hot tub was dirty and a bit stinky), fun planned activities for kids, and access to tradewinds. With that said, the rooms are very dated. The staff at the front desk wasn’t always there, and our phone wouldn’t even connect to the front desk! Our friends booked a balcony room, only to find their definition of some “balconies” was a sliding glass door with a gate over it. The kind you see in unfinished homes. They would not change rooms or refund them the price difference, and it was several staff members before someone acknowledged this was not a true balcony. They also advertise a lot of things for kids to do, but many of them cost a significant amount of extra money. "

"Lots of construction was going on at the beach area. Staff was very helpful and gave great recommendations. Room was great for the sleeping arrangements we needed. Floor of our room was gritty and dirty. Bottom of our feet were black. "

"We booked St. Pete Shores Hotel (Itinerary #72071582369574) based on their listing, which prominently features a beachfront children’s playground. That amenity does not exist. It’s completely misleading. What this hotel does not disclose is that the property is an active construction zone. The entire place is under renovation—potholes, construction cones, fencing, and yellow hazard tape everywhere. Construction noise runs daily from 8 AM to 5 PM, including weekends. This is not a vacation environment—especially not for families with young children. The “Shore side” rooms (where we were placed) are in unacceptable condition: • Broken patio furniture with holes • Dirty toilet upon arrival • Cigarette butts left behind • Mismatched, worn-down furniture This is basic cleanliness and safety being ignored. We also requested adjoining rooms for our family. The front desk admitted there were still unoccupied rooms but refused to accommodate or make any adjustments. Zero effort to help. This was not a budget stay—we paid a premium price for what was advertised as a family-friendly beachfront experience. Instead, we got a construction site with unsafe conditions and misleading marketing. If you’re traveling with kids or expecting what’s shown in their photos—do not book here."

"I got a standard room for four people, and it was really small. No room anywhere to put any suitcases but other than that everything was excellent. Definitely will be going back and getting a bigger room next time."
