Springtown Holidays

It started off really rocky. The valet was anything but friendly, didn't ask for a lot of information when I left my vehicle and made me wonder if I would ever see it again. It was right at dark and the property didn't feel safe. Walking to the room, I was cat-called by numerous people at the pool, in the lobby and waiting for the elevator. The room itself was so pretty, and the view was amazing. That night, I did put my suitcase in front of the door. During the day, it was alot better, the valet was never great, but the day staff was much friendlier. Once everyone seemed to have left Sunday, the place and area felt alot safer. As far as the area, same thing, nighttime was a bit sketchy with alot of homeless people. All in all, I felt more secure the longer I stayed. But being a single mom with 2 kids, I probably would not book this spot again.

We loved our stay at Canvas - everyone was incredibly kind and we loved that they had monitored parking 24/7. The pool was amazing and relaxing and the room was cute.

Lovely hotel in an historic building within yards of The Majestic theater and Kitchen & Kocktails, a terrific comfort food restaurant.

Beautiful excellent service, hotel, food, style.

I stay here for consistency and convenience. And I am always pleased when I can get a stay under $200. But the building could use a much needed update.
