"We stayed here for a couple of nights for a long weekend exploring the Yorkshire Wolds. The location is great, being close to a few larger towns like Driffield and Pocklington, but also close to some amazing walking including a stretch of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The room was really lovely, the staff friendly, and the food and beer fantastic. We will definitely stay again when we're next out this way! "
"Brilliant find, Ian was welcoming and really helpful showing us round and giving all the details you need for a great stay.
Breakfast and facilities were top notch and we will definitely be back! "

Holiday Inn Hull Marina by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Had a really lovely stay with my family at the holiday inn, Hull marina. Staff were super friendly and location was perfect for the Deep and the old town. Would definitely recommend the hotel."
"Clean hotel, comfy bed, it was a great stay for 2 nights. Staff were very friendly and check-in process was very quick. The free use of facilities (gym & pool) was a bonus although do expect children’s classes going on as well. Hotel in good location as McDonald’s & KFC just a min away plus few othe shops. Overall, I’d recommend as good value gor money. "
"Checking was great, and the room was sufficient. However, when I went to use the shower in the morning, the bath had lots of debris, and gunk in it, presumably from the person who used it before. The carpet also hadn’t been cleaned, which put me off somewhat. The bedding did seem fresh, but I didn’t want to take a shower, or have a tea and coffee in the morning. The cleanliness really let this place down."
"Like my stay last year, the doors of adjoining rooms get slammed at all hours, so maybe adults need reminding by a sign on the doors to be thoughtful to others.
The room was perfect, the view I wanted and paid for was better than expected.
There is of course need for licks of paint and perhaps in room furniture in need of tlc or upgrade, but for me, it adds to the "age".
If you want modern, go elsewhere but the price is reflective of the location, so all things being equal. I am satisfied with my stay. "
"Good location, easy access, nice environment, nice self-service breakfast, staff are friendly and helpful, nice and tidy room, parking price was reasonable and location was easy and convenient. "
