Knockranny House Hotel and Spa

10/10 Excellent

"First time staying at Knockranny House Hotel, and I'm already planning when I can stay again. The staff were friendly, engaging and helpful. The property is clean and has a welcoming feel to it. I had a grand deluxe room. It was spacious, comfortable and above my expectations. For me, the bed and bedding were what you would experience in a five-star hotel. It was noticeably better than the average four-star hotel. The meal in the bar wasn't quite as good as it could have been, but the staff quickly dealt with the feedback and were able to sort it out for me. Breakfast was excellent."

Westport Plaza Hotel

8/10 Good

"I honestly would give this a 3.5 rating instead of a 4, but it wasn't an option. This hotel is in a good location, but the rooms are very dated. The furniture is worn and tired. The baseboards, doors, and carpets are dented or torn. The upsides to the hotel are the restaurant and bar are great. The food, drinks and staff were all wonderful. I would not stay here again until they've updated the rooms."

The Wyatt Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Loved the Wyatt Hotel in Westport! Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. Very nice breakfast. Staff was fine - not overly warm and welcoming, but helped when asked. Parking was usually available right outside the front door. Price was very reasonable! Loved walking around and shopping in town. Nice fine on our way to Connemara."
