    Come escape and relax in this completely renovated 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom beach front cottage. “Pura Vida” will be sure to ease your mind with expansive views of the gulf and white sand beaches right outside your door.

    Open concept dining and living area overlook panoramic gulf views. Ocean front deck with built in bar, and comfortable seating provide the perfect place to enjoy a beachside meal, cold drink, and relaxation. New boardwalk with foot washing station leads to a gate that will allow for safety for small children. Hot/cold outdoor shower located at the top of the boardwalk.

    The hallway leads to 3 well appointed bedrooms. The double bunk room can sleep 4 and is the perfect place for kids or teens. This room opens to the hallway with a shared bathroom with the 2nd queen bedroom. The master bedroom features a king size bed and private bathroom.

    Newly renovated kitchen will provide ample cooking space and utensils for your needs. Cordless Roman shades throughout the home allow for privacy and room darkening.

    Other amenities to include wireless internet service, multiple flat panel smart tv/ROKU that guests may utilize with their own log in.

    Laundry room with separate entry located underneath home by parking pad.

    For allergy and furniture maintenance reasons, Pura Vida is dog friendly ONLY! Thank you for your understanding.

A perfect getaway. A perfect oasis. A wonderful place to build family memories. Everything one would need was right at hand. The hosts were extremely responsive in a very timely manner. Our family will probably be back. And the fact that we were able to take our 2 1/2 year-old grand pup, golden retriever, made it even more perfect.

Beautiful Beach Cottage

We had a wonderful vacation at this lovely little beach cottage. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of room. The beach is beautiful and the location is perfect. We hope to be able to visit again soon.

Perfect beach cottage

Really sweet cottage directly on the beach. Very clean and convenient. Master bath and closet and very small but second bathroom is much larger. We loved the direct access to the beach and the outdoor water and shower. Very quiet and relaxing.

Great Family Getaway

This was the perfect beach house for my family. The location on St. George Island is perfect! We loved being right on the beach so we didn't have to haul our stuff very far. The house was clean and had everything we needed. By the end of the week our young boys were calling it their beach house. We are already planning on staying here again next year!

Property couldn’t be better located! Cute, clean house - love, love the boardwalk to the beach and the fire pit area. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the bed in the primary room and the sofa need to be replaced as they are so uncomfortable they were unable unusable.

Incredible and great communication

Fantastic! The home had everything we needed and was perfect for our family of 5. Right on the beach with the perfect porch for watching sunrises on a quiet stretch of beach. Craig was awesome - very quick to respond if we had questions and incredibly helpful! Already looking at dates to book again!

Beautiful and Fun Get Away

My friend, her dog and I stayed the week of April 20-27. We had a fabulous time! Pura Vida has a wonderful deck and a gorgeous wall of windows to look out over the beach! Everything you could want is in the house. We even had a bonfire in the fire pit and made some-mores with friends. The owners answered all texts immediately. It was a wonderful vacation and can’t wait to go back!

AMAZING views!!!

The view here is absolutely amazing. We had great weather with an occasional storm. Dolphins were out everyday. The island basically has anything you need for your stay. The house fit our family perfectly. I would recommend a pop up canopy for the deck as the sun can be brutal mid day. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to just relax, this is it!

Pura Vida

We had a wonderful time at Pura Vida! The house had the most beautiful view of the Gulf and the most incredible waterfront, expansive porch. I always like to cook for my family on vacation, and the kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen with all the necessary kitchen tools for cooking. Also, the house was clean and in tip top shape! I would definitely rent this property again. It was like a dream spending a week at Pura Vida!

We miss SGI!!

This home has a wonderful view, with great access to a low key beach area! It had everything that we needed to relax and have a great week. The owners have added a lot of modern touches to the home, including the kitchen, which was my favorite space, besides the beach of course! We had a small maintenance issue, but the owners were easy to communicate with and we resolved it quickly. We will definitely come back to SGI and this house!

Pura Vida

From the location, parking, extras like labeling everything , charging ports, to the whole front house view and provided firewood, we could not have asked for more. The small bathroom showered would not stay in position so we could use it, but there were only two of us so we didn't really need it.The house is fully upgraded to have all the things you could want. Purely enjoyed our week!

Family Fun

Wow! The view from this home is amazing! We stayed a week with our children and grandchildren and had a blast. Home has everything you need. Very clean, easy check in and out. We played on the beach, took long walks, rented a golf cart to ride the island. It just went by too fast. The A/C in the home works great and the beds all slept good. Thanks for sharing your home.

Much needed getaway

Relaxing and wonderful. Owners are great to work with - good communication as we were dodging hurricanes leading up to and throughout our stay :). I especially like the boardwalk onto the beach because you avoid the prickly things that grow on the beachgrass. Also the foot wash and outdoor shower were so convenient to quickly wash our furry friend of the salt and sand. We were fortunate to watch as Milton blew by south of us and got some great sunset pictures afterwards. Also loved the view and cushioned benches along the large windows facing the beach. Good food at local restaurants and such a charming community. Can’t wait to come back.

We had an amazing vacation

Craig was always quick to respond. The house was beautiful and you cant beat the location. When we come back to St George we will definetly stay here. The king mattress needs be replaced. It has large impressions where guests lay the most and it made it difficult to sleep. That is my only complaint. Everything else was amazing. Like I said this will be our go too for St George island.

Wonderful small retreat

Wonderful location right on the beach. Easy drive to get to. Beach was only yards away and there was very few people on the beach near us. House was clean and stocked well. Property lived up to its description . We enjoyed our 6 days very much and would use this property again. Many positive attributes. The only negatives I can think of are that it is a smaller 3 bedroom house so if we had filled the bedrooms it might have felt cramped. The bathrooms are small and the furniture is not comfortable. But we spent very little time sitting in the den. We tried to stay outside as much as possible.

Great view, responsive owners, minor house issues

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Pura Vida. The view can't be beat, the owners are kind and responsive, and the deck space is perfect for dogs, especially as one of ours is a tripod and having a ramp down to the beach was wonderful for her. That said, there were a few issues that kept it from getting five stars. There was dog poop on the steps from the parking area upon our arrival, and it was clear a previous dog had marked in the house (the kitchen mat in particular smelled strongly of urine and had to be washed, but the owners also ordered a replacement that was scheduled to be delivered the day we left). We are animal people and not squeamish about cleaning up accidents, but it was a shame the housecleaner had missed these. There were also some minor maintenance issues—loose doorknobs and toilet paper holders (my husband fixed them), mildewy caulk in the master shower, and a broken oversize Connect Four game with all the discs loose on the floor when we got there. Not a big deal, but doesn't make the best first impression. I think with a deep clean and a handyman's attention, this house would be stellar. It's been tastefully renovated, has a well-stocked kitchen, and is in a prime location, but needs a little more attention in these areas to be five stars.

Could be cleaner. Air vent in main bath with mold and alarming. Drain flys. bunk bed clothes didn’t all seem clean. Only 2 dishwasher pods. Had to go buy toilet paper. Couch dirty. View amazing. Beach access wonderful. Location great.
