"This really was a most magical place to visit, the peace and calm of the area was just what I needed after hectic working weeks! I wish I had stayed longer to enjoy more of the spa, the village is hard to get to, and very small but the hotel makes up for that. The night we stayed there was a lightning storm and the hotel came to collect us from the local pizza restaurant which was so kind! A lovely places with lovely staff, cannot recommend highly enough! "The hotel is for sale and nobody had stayed there recently. He was quite surprised when we turned up. Restaurant shut and no where to eat within walking distance. Breakfast was 2 slices of cake and a coffee. Very expensive for what we got.

"Great Staff; friendly and efficient. Great Breakfast with a tasty selection of Italian cold cuts and pastry, freshly made scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, etc. Great coffee machine. Only drawback while the facilities are very nice and well maintained, there isn't much going on outside within walking distance. You need a car to get to shopping and restaurants. The Hotel / Residence doesn't offer any dining facilities. The rooms however are equipped with Microwave and Refrigerator. "
"We absolutely loved our stay at La Sosta. You can tell Ezio and Angela truly care about hospitality. Their hearts are in this place and you can see it. The property is absolutely stunning, rooms are no fuss exactly what you need and the restaurant on site is absolutely charming and delicious. Location was perfect for us as it was close to the activities (wedding ) and close enough to Lecco for shopping, ferries etc. We did have a car and it was perfect to come and go during our trip. Would absolutely stay again!! "
