Lovely hosts, welcoming and friendly (made a great breakfast too). Room and facility was clean and modern with some colourful and funky decorations. Easy to recommend.

This was a great spot. Everthing was awesome. We were on the top floor, 57 steps. We were fine with it but if you can not maneuver steps well, request a lower floor.

Great stay
Ian and Bev were so welcoming when I came to stay at Hastings House. I stay at hotels approx once a month but this is one of the cleanest and definitely has more facilities than others. Have recommended to others!

We arrived a bit early, but the proprietress was on hand and allowed us to check in. The location was wonderful as it is very centrally located with easy walking to the beach, to many restaurants and green areas. Breakfast was also delicious and fresh!

Lovely, friendly modern hotel in a great location
Loved this boutique hotel, had everything you need. Bed was so comfortable with lovely pillows. Breakfast was delicious and we will definitely book this again next time we come to Hastings 100% recommended

A fantastic place to stay in Hastings.
We only stayed one night. Everyone was lovely, couldn’t have been more helpful. The hotel was clean and the rooms had everything we needed and more. The breakfast was extremely good. If i have one small gripe it was that the room we stayed in was very small. Next time we would ask for a different room and we would happily go back.

thanks for your review , rooms like any hotel in the world are priced in category so our smaller rooms are cheaper than our luxury rooms and our seaview rooms , its always the case wherever you stay , seaview rooms are very large hence the price difference , come back and stay in one of those next time

Lovely property and very nice owners. Breakfast was great. Good location with amazing views. Sparklingly clean. Nice extra touches such as complimentary drink on arrival and good selection of teas in the room. Very relaxing stay.

Wonderful property run by Ian and Beverley who made us feel so welcome! Room 7 was fantastic - views of the sea, huge bed, spacious waterfall shower! Can’t fault it. Lovely breakfast with all you could want! Affordable drinks and a drink upon arrival.

Beverly and her husband were both courteous, friendly and hospitable. Love the doggies as well; so well groomed and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Hastings House Hotel is an unexpected Chic comfortable gem in the heart of St Leonard’s Warrior Square. Highly recommend!

The proprietors were very welcoming and helpful. The room although small and at the rear of the property was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. In retrospect I wished we had investigated parking before we arrived, the car park we ended up in was a good walk away and although was free after 6, had to be paid for from 8 in the morning.

Good fun hotel with exceptional room, friendly owners couldn't have been more helpful. Its well worth all of the stars that have been given. I would be delighted to stay there again. To cap it the breakfast was delicious
