"Dukes head is a a grand building. The hotel is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Restaurant was friendly and food excellent quality and value. Self service style breakfast had everything you would need. A variety of big name shops within easy walking distance as was the harbour area."

"A little dated now in all fairness. Shower was warm, no pressure. Decor dated but still so very retro. Could do with a freshen up. Very clean, attentive staff and I would still stay again. I'm not a picky person at all and still slept very well. Great location and plenty of parking. "

"Spa, room and staff all fantastic. We had a meal in the pub (Indian night) and was very disappointed, reminded me of a poor flavoured homemade meal, really not what i expected. Breakfast in the morning was great in every way. Would recommend, just not for the Indian. "

"The reception staff in the evening very helpful and parking was good, The food in evening wasn’t great. The room was clean and really good shower. The breakfast was good. "

"We were disappointed to find that breakfast was not included in the price and so we had to pay an additional charge for breakfasts for our two night stay. The meal we had at the pub in the first night was mediocre at best. We ordered one of the 'specials' , which we thought would be good. It was a pie that had been microwaved and so instead of a crisp pastry crust was more like elastic."

"The pub itself was lovely and welcoming, check in was easy, however there were a few things that i personally consider needs addressing The restaurant doesn’t start serving food for guests until 6.30 pm and when you have been on business all day i just wanted to relax with some nice food and a glass of wine, the reception told me the chip shop was open, that is where i went. The room on arrival was very cold as the radiator was not on, blinds in the bathroom did not close and the towel rail was very dirty, the netflix channel was stuck on a foreign language so couldn’t access or add my account, please also consider removing the green light that stays on all night inside the room by the door, it was very difficult to block it out, however breakfast was amazing "

"This house is a jem. We picked it doe to the excellent reviews and it lived up and exceeded expectations! It has everything you would need beautifully set 10 min drive from King's Lynn. The tennis court and garden are fab, but the house interior and rooms is what really set it apart. The kitchen is very well stocked.The cinema room with the surround sound is great and the two reception rooms are very cosy. But the best room is the dining room, which is stunning.The bedrooms are large, beds comfortable an impeccable level of hygiene in the bathrooms.Thank you so much for having us and we will be back! "
