Getaway

The location for this place was the best and the reason why we chose it. The place was clean when we arrived. Just a few things that didn’t go smooth were:Combination of door did not work. Place needs more mirrors. Could use additional blankets. Couches need to be replaced. The pool was perfect and a great way to end a day on the beach. Thanks

Not a bad place

Nice place, room was under construction. Stool for chair was completely destroyed and no response from property management which whatever but I don't want blamed for it. Floors looked clean but as soon as you walk barefoot on it they turn black after a few steps. No locks work for elevator or for back gate they are all broke. Again not a big deal to me but some may not feel very secure. But it's a great location and would still come back

Could be an easy 10!

The good is… This could easily be a 10 overall consistently. Location is superb…. Problem is there are little things that for about 1000 investment could make it ideal. There is floor molding trim missing all throughout the place, which is sort of embarrassing when you have friends visit. The pictures online of the living room furniture had me concerned and did not disappoint when we arrived. I was sort of concerned about sitting on the couch it doesn’t look clean or sanitary and the Otman is busted, it should all be replaced. Felt like sand on the bedroom floor and we had not even been to the beach yet. The bedrooms had the flattest pillows I have ever seen in my life. we had to share the remote for the master bedroom and the living room TV, which was not a dealbreaker but inconvenient The place is nicely decorated, but it just seems like they’re doing just enough to make it desirable. Overall, we had a great time.

We loved this condo! Very clean and updated. Loved how it was decorated. Very beachy, Great choices to really make you feel like you were in a beachy enviroment. We will definitly rent this unit again!

Beautiful beach

Condo was clean and well stocked. Suggest stocking bathrooms with more bath towels. Shopping and restaurants were within an easy walk!

Beautiful condo in the best location!

The condo is located directly across from John’s Pass making it the ideal location. You can walk to a wide variety of restaurants, shops, and stores. The condo was clean and the bed was comfy! The pool is also amazing and clean with the cutest tiki tables to sit at or plenty of lounge chairs to relax in. I would recommend staying here :)

Property was well kept. Private parking and access code for pool gates and elevator made us feel safe. The room was clean and very equipped for our family of 6. Walking distance from the beach, restaurants and local shops.

Short review

First the elevator worked intermittently and its floor covering looked tacky. 1 chair on the balcony was broken as was the ottoman inside. Some walls looked unfinished. No bathmats in bathrooms and the refrigerator door needed touched up. There needs directions for tv, very frustrating trying find channels. They need regular moving carts not 1 grocery cart to move in with. air and heat were great, the recliners were fantastic and beds were very comfy

I enjoyed staying here my only complaint is that it could use some updating throughout the property (not necessarily in our room). However with at being said I did see someone on several different days speaking with someone about repairs so they seemed to be aware and at least are making efforts in the right direction.

Overall great property with excellent location

We used this condo for a quick weekend getaway. The whole building could use some updating but there were some nice updates in the condo and it met our needs perfectly. There is a beach view, but only if you stand on the balcony and lean out a bit and look to the right. There is coin operated laundry on site although we did not use these machines. Location is fantastic, just a quick trip down the stairs or elevator and then you're only a few steps away from the pool and beach. Parking is limited but we only had one car so again, this met our needs perfectly. We had a wonderful time and would visit again.

Perfect location

THE best location. The unit itself was spacious and had all the supplies anyone could need. The carpet in both bedrooms is heavily stained and needs to be ripped out. The decor-pictures, lamps, etc need to be replaced as well. Very outdated but overall a great unit. We couldn’t hear any traffic except for the occasional motorcycle revving their engine on the main road. The coin laundry for this floor is literally less than 20 steps away which was great. I would stay again.

Beautiful beach across from John’s Pass

Great location, beach is easy to access (elevators and short walk). The unit was on 3rd floor. View of the pass, not the ocean although it was nice. If you like to fish, bring poles and get a day license, noticed many fishing under the pass. Unit was clean and comfortable for us. Has a few beach chairs, umbrellas, volleyball in the unit available for use. Few things missing for cooking etc. The lock on entry door code was an issue to get in every time, noticed a couple of broken items in the condo.I reported to the agent immediately via app/email. No response from them the entire time. . I’d stay at this location again. Maybe a beach view next time. Enjoy your trip, cheers! !

Disgusting

The only good thing about this place is its proximity to the beach. Everything is outdated, the floors that are supposed to be white are grey from all the filth, vents with dust falling off them, bathrooms horrific, bedding was horrible! The whole time we were there I had to keep fighting with fruit flies that we never understood where they were coming from! Ugh completely disgusted!!

We were put in the wrong unit, with not enough beds and lacking specific items that were in the initial unit that I rented. I spent a lot of money on this vacation for my family and this was a huge inconvenience. No one has returned my calls, texts or emails to rectify this situation. Very unhappy!

Terrible Experience at Sandy Shores

When we arrived we tried to contact the manager at the office. The door was locked so we called the number. A lady answered and told us she wasn’t able to help us bc she was “out and about” but we could just park wherever and go to our condo. The elevator wasn’t working so we had to take the stairs. When we got to our condo we noticed a sign on the door informing us we would not have access to walk in or out of the rented condo for 2 full days of our stay due to the walkway floors being repainted. When I tried to clarify this with management I was told the company I booked through or the owner should have informed us bc the repairs had been scheduled for over a month. We weren’t informed until we checked in. Once inside the condo we noticed the floors were covered in sand, the baseboards were missing and the drywall was being repaired throughout the condo.Many pieces of furniture including the living room ottoman, one of the patio chairs and the dresser drawers were broken. The pillows were stained with brown or yellow stains and one of the pillows had blood stains on it. The building was being power washed throughout our entire stay. The machine was extremely loud and disruptive when trying to sleep. On April 28-29 the walkways were taped off and we were not allowed to come or go from the condo between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm. The staff were rude and not at all helpful. We paid for 5 days but were really only allowed to use the condo for 3. Don’t stay here!

Great complex/location to stay!

We stayed here the first week of January 2021. Very easy check-in. You have all your info in your email you just find your parking spot and start unloading. It is contactless but we did call about a few things and they are very helpful on the phone. We loved having a fully stocked kitchen with all the necessary appliances. We enjoyed making a lot of our meals. There is a Publix a couple miles south down the road. Very convenient. The condo is very spacious and comfy beds. We even had beach chairs, sand toys and board games to use. The pool is like bathwater and very clean. The lounge chairs around the pool were washed every day and a very clean bathroom by the pool. Real nice tiki hut tables that we enjoyed our dinner some nights by the pool and there are even even BBQ grills to cook on. The beach was beautiful. The location of the condo is wonderful. The pier is one condo complex away we were able to walk there every morning and watch the birds catch their breakfast. We found shells and starfish on the beach. The condo is located right across the street from St John’s Pass. There are tons of stores and restaurants. It was so nice to not have to drive. We walked across every night. There are so many other things to do within driving distance if you don’t want to just sit and relax on the beach or at the pool. This was our best trip on the gulf side so far. Nice property and great location! We will be back!!
