My friends and I were very impressed with the condo. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Our view was the beach and we enjoyed spending our mornings on the balcony having our coffee.Check in process was easy and communication with management was good. The condo is across from John’s Pass and convenient to shopping and dining.My friends and I look forward to staying there again.

Everything was great. great communication with management company. place was clean , neat and beds were great. Very easy to walk your entire stay for meals and ice cream and shopping. If There was anything that needed attention would be bathroom exaust fans and since it looks like its been repainted not long ago, replace the metal air return on side of wall. Awesome place to stay!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for everything!!!!!!!!!!!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time at John's Pass. The location is perfect for our family. We spent time at the beach and pool, and went on a couple trips with Hubbard's Marina across the street.

Super convenient to the beach and pool, gorgeous view of the dolphins at stride right from the balcony. Large rooms and comfy beds. Great master shower. Coffee pot could use and upgrade and we had to buy extra tp and paper towels but that may have just been us. The building was older but well maintained they worked on something everyday. The only downside was the fact that our room was right over the pool entry gate and it shut really loudly when people just let it slam but that wasn’t a huge deal for us. The pool area was great with some shade and tables and a gorgeous beach view, we went in October and the weather was absolutely perfect but the pool water was too chilly for me, I thought it was heated. It didn’t bother the kids much. I liked that I could use my AirPods and still hear my podcast or audiobook at the pool with my phone in the room. There was great beach stuff in the room so we didn’t have to bring toys or chairs. It was a great stay!

Wonderful condo, view & location

Even with the tropical storm hitting, our stay was pleasant thanks to the condo having a generator and keeping power. The rooms were very clean, the ocean front view was magnificent, and location was across the street from all the shops and restaurants. We highly recommend this condo!

Great Place

The unit was clean, comfortable and its location in the building is ideal. Great view of the pool and Gulf of Mexico. The building’s location is directly across Gulf Boulevard from John’s Pass. The only thing I’d add is a clock or two, especially in the bedrooms.

A few things I would tweak, like getting all the codes as you need 4 different codes for elevator, door, pool and beach. Also suggest painting front door as gives poor first impression BUT inside was great! Location was great! Truly enjoyed our stay and would choose again next time in area.

Great location!

We loved our stay at Sandy Shores! Location was perfect for our family, with John’s Pass right across the street, we barely had to drive anywhere beside the grocery store. There is so much to do & so many restaurants to enjoy in John’s Pass. We enjoyed the pool & the beach, & the supply of beach toys, towels & chairs was a great bonus. The condo was clean, updated & worked great for our family.

Great location

Loved the proximity to the beach and water. Waking up to that view was unbelievable! Only complaint was the noise from the upstairs neighbor, they have a dog that is constantly making noise. Other than that, we loved the stay and would do it again. Communication with the management company was quick and efficient. I liked the fact that I was able to contact them at any point and they responded kindly and with all the information I needed. Thank you for allowing us to stay. My little girl had a perfect 7th birthday.

The location of this condo is amazing! The grounds and pool are well kept and right across the street from John’s Pass. The view from the balcony is sublime. However, I would not stay here again. First, the beds are way past their prime. No one in our group felt they got a good night’s sleep. When we went to turn in for the night, one of our beds had a damp sheet and another bed had wet sheets. Cannot imagine how the cleaning crew thought anyone could sleep on those sheets. Also, no blankets and the bedspreads were thin and flimsy. The couch was sunken in and needed replacement. The dishwasher did not work and there were maintenance guys there two separate days and they never fixed it. The place just felt cheap and not worthy of its price range. Too bad. Updated bedding and a couch would help tremendously. Could be a great stay with some changes.

Location is great. Communication from the management team is great. The property is dated seems dingy (living room furniture). Bedding could at least match in second bedroom. The kitchen was quite dirty. Spots of food inside the refrigerator and on the outside of the microwave. Several of the dishes I pulled from the cupboard were dirty, so I ended up having to wash everything I used. Kitchen only partially stocked, for instance, there were no lids to the pots & pans. Only one frying pan, no scissors, etc. There was construction in the unit above, so it was quite noisy during the day. Also, I get trust it’s a vacation house, but a clock in the master bedroom would be helpful. At one point, all exterior gate codes were changed. We were not notified by the management company. Another resident let us know why they were changed and what the new codes were. With all the properties to choose from along the coast, I’ll look for a different one next time.

Awesome condo, amazing location

We stayed here for a weekend friend trip. There were 4 of us, so all the beds were used. They were all totally fine. They were softer mattresses than we may have preferred but none of us thought they were bad. The condo was clean and stocked with what we needed, but we didn't cook or eat in the condo really at all. They provided some beach stuff (we didn't use it but would next time!) like chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, and some toys. The furniture was comfy too. But let's talk about the location. THAT VIEW! OMG. That alone is why you should stay here. We took a sunset cruise but honestly, the sunset from the beach right in front of our condo was the best! From condo to beach is a very short walk - SO short! And you can see the beach and the ocean from the pool area. Originally we were disappointed there wasn't a hot tub, but in November it was still hot enough to not need it at all. The pool was nice and the area around the pool has tables with shade. There was also a place to grill out (although we didn't use it). There are a LOT of codes here - for the elevator, for the stairs, for the gates, for the door, etc, but I think that's probably fairly normal in areas like this. There are a handful of decent places to eat across the street too, which was handy. If you are looking for coffee, go down the street just a bit to Sweet Brewnettes. It was SO good!
