Studio Unit Facing Beach 2nd Fl - Surf Song #227

Surf Song #227 - Terrific opportunity to enjoy poolside and beach views from this Studio Efficiency in popular Surf Song Resort. Updated condo is near all amenities and includes all new kitchen that is fully stocked with kitchen appliances and utensils for your convenience. The main living area contains a nice sized sofa, flat panel TV, and king sized bed. This is the perfect retreat for couples looking to relax, enjoy and take part in all that this area offers. As a SunHost guest, kitchen utensils, linens, extra pillows and sufficient towels are fully stocked upon arrival. Please note this unit does not have a phone. Free Wifi.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

When staying in a SunHost unit you will also have access to 7 day a week office staff, office services (copy, print boarding passes etc.) We also have maintenance available 7 days a week if you experience any issues at the property and an after hours emergency on call person. This is a non smoking unit.

Guests can walk outside and immediately be at the heated pool and BBQ facilities. Of course, the tranquil Madeira beaches are just a few steps away as well. Overall, it doesn't get much better than this. For entertainment and shopping, simply walk across the street to John's Pass Village a quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction. The Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Best of all as a SunHost customer you can walk to this great entertainment destination. Anchor tenants include Bubba Gumps, Hooters and Hubbards Marina and also world famous Bamboo Beer Garden.

Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. Its 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. This beautiful Gulf getaway, has something for everyone, including dolphin watching, water sports along some of the most beautiful crystal clear waters in the world.

Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

Great stay!!!

Had a great time here for our 4 day stay. Beach access is extremely easy to get to. pool area was wonderfully maintained. Condo itself was very clean and roomy. So close to shopping and many great restaurants. Definitely would recommend this place to stay and I plan on rebooking in the future for sure!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Surf Song was great. The family atmosphere was the same it always is. We haven’t been in 7 years and it was good to go. The management though was not the best. The people in the office were very rude. The unit was only stocked with 4 towels for 4 people for 7 days. When we asked for more they said “This is not a hotel...do laundry”. I am on vacation...I do not want to do laundry. The unit was also only stocked with 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for 7 days. I was surprised they gave us another roll.

It's all about the view and location, location, location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed for 9 days in Studio Unit 227. This is the 2nd year I have stayed in this unit. The view is incredible, location in the building is very convenient. Although the condo could use a little sprucing up it was perfect for me. Be aware that this building and it's interior is very old so don't go expecting a 5 start resort. A new roof was being put on while we were there so hopefully the renovations will continue.

Our week was awesome! We had great weather except for the last day, which was just perfect for shopping at John's Pass. Surf Song is a great location, with great accommodations, staff and other guests. Will definitely be back next year!

Smoking policy..... Surf Song needs more smoking areas on its location ....I don’t mind smoking in locations but you could add more area maybe by the grill area & in the parking garage area

My only complaint would be that maybe the mattress needs to be replaced. The first year we were there we were amazed with how well the outside maintenance was kept but this year we noticed it wasn't done as well; clean for the most part just not as well as the previous year.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit we stayed in was great but the property was dirty and looked rundown. We have been staying at SurfSong for a long time and have never seen it in the condition it was in October. The walkways were filthy dirty, the paint was peeling up, the pool was dirty, the shuffle board area needs repaired, trash cans were over flowing and there was rats around the pool area and the parking garage. My parents stayed in a separate unit at SurfSong based on our recommendation and said they would not stay there again based on the condition of the property and their unit. In fact they booked at a different property for next October. We will be returning to the area in April and will see how the property looks at that time.

Reviewer Comments: Our room was just fine but we were very disappointed that rules were not enforced. There were so many big floats,toys,roudyness,beer cans always in and around the pool everyday that we were there. Towels were draped on pool fence along with clothing and all this mess was left overnight by the guests in the large group we couldn’t take a picture in the morning because of the way it looked. We had to ask several times for them to move or turn down their radio because we couldn’t hear our tv in our room. Nothing was ever said to this group by the management. Very disappointed
