"Room was clean and beds were decently comfortable. Room was spacious enough that I didn’t feel crowded with my family. Waffles were on point as always, and the rest of the breakfast was very nice! Excited to stay here in a few weeks again."

"The room was fairly clean, the staff was hard to find someone at the desk, The kitchen lady was AMAZING! She was so friendly and made sure there was plenty of food out for everyone. We were excited to use the pool. Upon arrival and checking it out, It was green with algae growing and a film on top. So that was extremely disappointing. "

"We had the worst experience at this hotel with my family. We stayed with kids and accidentally booked a smoking room (be careful—they push smoking rooms first). The clerks were rude and unhelpful, refusing to assist us in switching rooms and claiming none were available, then shortly after offering another room only if we paid an extra $135. The clerk promised that the next day we would be moved—either to a non-smoking room or at least to a better one—and said they would leave a note for the next clerk so I wouldn’t have to explain everything again. The next morning, when a different clerk checked the note in the system, their expression changed and they immediately said a room was unavailable. When I asked for a manager, I was told no one was there and no one knew when they would return. The room smelled awful—unbearable, and we could barely sleep. The linens were dirty and had cigarette burn marks; I had to request clean ones and change them myself, and they were reluctant to even provide them. The bathroom door didn’t lock (fixed the next day), and the TV didn’t work (replaced the following evening). Yes —they already have customers due to the location near the highway. I truly regret choosing this hotel. I only picked it because I was looking for a pet-friendly place, and that’s what led me to book here. The only positives were the air conditioning and parking."

"Our first night stay the AC was not working, so our room was hot. Then the next morning I noticed there was bood on our sheets, not from us. It looked like somebody cut their hand while making the bed. I felt like the casino was better, than the room."

"The breakfast buffet was ok - no eggs of any kind."Hot" items were tater tots (warm at best & not crunchy), sausage pattys, & ham(Canadian bacon?). WRT the responsiveness of requests for additional pillows or servicing of our rooms - didn't happen. The furniture in the room was old and marred up. I will never stay there again and recommend others do the same."

"Probably my most unusual stay at a hotel. Check-in was smooth overall. However, when I walked into the room it felt damp and smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals. I had to prop the windows open and get the fan on and it only helped the smell slightly. My biggest mistake was walking down the hallway in flip-flops and no socks (this is important). I was looking for the gym (there wasn't one, should've done better research) and found a vending machine. When I tried to use it, it wouldn't take my card. So, I had to get some cash, which it took but then wouldn't give me anything I selected. I returned to my room and felt something sticky on my heel. I didn't remember stepping on anything on the carpeted hallway and so I mistakenly rubbed my hand on my foot to see what it was (I should've looked first). If I had looked first, I probably would not have had to was the poop (yes, literally crap, fecal matter, doo doo was on my foot). After washing my hands, feet, flip flops, I informed the front desk manager that there was poop in the hallway (human or animal, I have no idea. It is a pet-friendly hotel), and that I had stepped in it. To which he replied, "I'm sorry that happened to you." Offered no further assistance and went back to working. Very disappointed and will not be staying at a Red Roof in the future and hope others can avoid having an experience like this one."

"Le décor est vieillot, sur tapis pas très attrayant, mais propre en général. Petit déjeuner continental strict et ordinaire. Quand on a vu Sonesta Essential à Savannah, les autres peuvent aller se rhabiller…. Grande chambre quand même mais les lits et surtout les oreillers pas très confortables."
