6/10 Okay

"The location was great! 2 miles from RMNP entrance, Wapati restaurant on property(really great food and staff), 5 min to town and situated right on the river. Unfortunately I did not ck my email so did not get ck in info till after trying to locate an office? Beds were very uncomfortable, shower had a footprint in it and decomposing caulking, debris under bed and in corners and trash around the property. Loud, late night, outdoor fighting between family members in multiple rooms. We would not stay here again."

"What a gem in Estes Park. This place makes you feel like you are in a mountain town. It is spacious and the rooms are nice. This hotel is situated right on the entrance to town and is easy to get to. There is a fire pit our side that you can roast marshmallows on. Our favorite thing was the water machine in the lobby. You can make all different kids of water, different flavors, different temperatures, and even sparking. We used this multiple tiles a day. The gentleman at the front desk that helped us was very funny and knowledgeable. This hotel also has a huge indoor pool with lots of rooms for kids to play around in. They have an awesome game room too. Definitely will stay here again. We even had elk in the parking lot to look at :)"

"I could write a novel on this visit. Starting off, their self-check-in did not work. I knocked on the door, the attendant could not get it to work. so then she had a workaround. Then there was no water in the main building due to a water line break. There was a hole in our parking spot in front of the room, where they were trying to repair the underground pipe. We parked afew rooms down. Thank god, it did not affect the water in the room. I will break down the rest of the issues in short bullet points. * No power to the coffee pot * No TV stations * Had to log in to personal Netflix to use TV * No front desk help with anything, you could not get any response from the phone number or knock on the door * It gets good ratings for being quiet. But you are on your own. Make it work, or you don't really need it."

"We were disappointed that there was no breakfast available, no food service available, and no bar service available the whole time we were there. The fire ring was broken in back so only one worked in front. The complimentary smores were very nice. Really cute lobby and nice place to relax. Nice location."

Expedition Lodge Estes Park

"Everything was nice; the location, amenities, breakfast, staff although the rooms are not updated but I believe that kind of goes with the territory from what I see in other hotel ads. I could be wrong, but this hotel was fine. The deck outside in front is very nice and equipped with fire tables/chairs although the tanks were empty but offered a nice scenery. It has a huge game room, washers/dryers, and fireplace all in and around the lobby/downstairs area. Since we were mostly out in the Rockies, it was fine for us. area."
