Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at The Byres per reservation.

Dunston Train Station has direct services operating to locations across Northern England including Billingham, Blaydon, Hartlepool, Hexham, Middlesbrough, Newcastle upon Tyne, Prudhoe, Seaham, Stockton-on-Tees, Sunderland and Thornaby-on-Tees.



A number of bus routes operate in Dipton offering access Consett, Durham, Newcastle upon Tyne and Stanley.
