"The front desk staff were wonderful. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was better than I expected. Loads of variety. The property could use a facelift - - fresh paint etc. The blind in our room was broken. Now all in all it waas a very pleasant stay. I would stay here again."

"Wonderful stay!! My only complaint was that I was unable to unpack because the drawers and closets are filled with the host's clothing. I expect to be able to unpack when traveling rather than living out of a suitcase. Property is lovely with a gorgeous mountain view. I would stay here again, but I would bring plastic furniture with me so I would have some drawer space if I returned."

"The Shaker museum was beautiful and the room was comfortable in clean. We enjoyed our stay very much. Two things the property could do to make the stays even better: make it clear that there’s no elevator to rooms. The staff is incredibly helpful bringing things upstairs, but they’re not around 24/7. Second, coffee in the rooms would be *greatly* appreciated. On an early Sunday morning, I had to drive across the bridge to Dunkin’ because nothing else was open. I understand wanting to keep the historic charm of the property, but small keurig machines would go a long way!"

"My husband and I had our wedding here. The check in process was smooth and the hosts were very communicative. The rooms were very clean and the outdoor area was very well maintained. We would definitely stay again and will recommend to our friends/family."
