The upstairs is an A-frame room and there are stairs to the upstairs unit, and to the loft. This could be a positive for privacy, if you are young and agile. We slept on the hide-a-bed on the main floor and found it comfortable.

"Clean and comfortable room and hotel looks new. Awesome water pressure in the shower which seems to be a rarity in Iceland. Very nice staff and good breakfast (the bread is excellent ). Easy to get everywhere from this hotel. Lots of parking. Would absolutely stay here again"
"Keflavik Micro Suites exceeded our expectations in just about every way. The room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was similarly clean with heated floors and towel rack. There were ample and convenient electrical sockets and light controls. And the food left for breakfast in the mini-fridge was a pleasant surprise. The location is great as a less than 10 minute drive to the airport with several convenient restaurants within walking distance. This is a perfect place to stay the night before a morning flight. "
