Absolutely a wonderful experience and hotel. Perfect location in the town. Walking distance to almost everything you need. The rooms were wonderful, and the food and drinks were great. Breakfast each morning was plentiful and offered a great variety. The ambiance is Increadable! Music, books, lounge seating. It's so inviting! The chef is amazing, very high end dinners! Would definitely stay here again. Hidden gem!

The Mornington is a wonderful hotel, and its location is centrally-located and convenient to many of Stockholm's most popular sights. The hotel staff were knowledgeable and kind. The hotel breakfast (included with your stay) is amazing and generous. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location. The area is trendy with many places to eat and a 10 minute walk from the old town. The restaurant is reasonable, good food but limited choice.the breakfast are great and if you don’t have gym attire you can borrow shorts and tshirt.

You have a very attentive staff. Great location. I’ve loved the wide selection of breakfast items. We liked the books and band. Our only dislike is there was no place to unpack ones clothes and the rooms were too dark. These were the comments of a party of 6 people, who had 3 separate rooms.

Hotel is located at a very convenient spot, lots of places to go eat, have a drink, shop, etc. staff was very helpful and even tho we got there before check in they allowed us to check in earlier and that was very nice of them since we had an overnight flight and needed some rest.

This was our first time to Stockholm, and we are glad we stayed at the Mornington. The accommodations were excellent, and the staff very helpful and pleasant. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We reserved the Cherry Double room and it was spacious and quiet. There is a small gym which was great for a workout. The breakfast (included in the price of our room) was outstanding, with both hot and cold foods, and very healthy selections. The location of the hotel was convenient to walk to many museums, the waterfront, and other activities, along with a wide range of restaurants and cafes, as well as a nice park a few blocks away. We took the train from the airport and the hotel was only a 20-minute walk away. The Mornington has evening music as well. We definitely recommend the Mornington; it was one of the best we've stayed in, and was reasonably priced.

This was our favorite hotel of the four on our trip - very cool atmosphere. It had a very very good breakfast, a nice bar and small bistro. The lobby was great place to hang out. It wasn't the most convenient location for where we wanted to do stuff and it was a little noisy, but still we liked this hotel a lot.

Mornington is a home away from home. The lobby is amazing and the staff always very friendly and service minded. The rooms are not so big but very cozy, clean and quiet to sleep in. The location on Östermlmstorg is simply perfect. I recommend this hotel strongly. And I have spent many, many nights there over the years.

Pros: Great neighborhood location with a relaxed vibe, friendly staff, and good breakfast (though the menu never changes and it gets crowded until 9:30 AM). The live jazz from the outdoor patio below was also a nice touch! Cons: We were staying for six nights. We requested a quieter room, but were told our Expedia package limited our options. Our 3rd-floor room faced daily early-morning loud noise—garbage trucks Wed–Fri and delivery trucks on Saturday. Additionally, the hotel Wi-Fi was down for at least two full days of our stay.

A very well run hotel in a great location. Less than 5 mins walk to the train station. Room was spacious with a comfortable couch. Beds were very comfortable as well. A very abundant breakfast with options for gluten free and dairy free/vegan including a version the traditional hard bread, vegan cheese, vegan butter, soya milk, oat milk etc. Friendly staff as well for who nothing was a trouble. Very highly recommend this hotel.

My friend rates hotels by their shoehorns or lack thereof. There was a shoehorn that eliminated the need to lean down, so for my friend, I rate it 5 stars. Very comfortable bed, great shower, and quiet. Breakfast was well laid, with much variety and excellent quality. The culinary high notes for me were the energy shots, meat, cheese, gravlax, herring, fresh fruit and vegetables. Coffee was good. This was my third stay at Mornington, which really speaks for itself. The location cannot be better, less than a block from Östermalstorg metro stop and one stop from Stockholm Central. One can walk to dozens of excellent dining options. It is an easy walk to the ferry for several islands in the archipelago and to Djurgården with its many attractions. Across the street is an excellent option for Fika, with cappuccino and something little and delicious to accompany it. The hotel restaurant served a lovely dinner and had a nice selection of draft beer (Neon IPA-yum) and local gin. The staff were excellent when a problem arose with the lock on our room door.

We stayed at this hotel for a few nights, and overall it was a very good experience. The location is excellent, with restaurants, a pharmacy, supermarkets, and many great places nearby. The hotel staff were very kind, helpful, and always willing to assist us. However, there are a couple of points that we felt could be improved. First, there was no refrigerator in the room. In most hotels around the world, even a small fridge is usually provided. Since we were traveling with a young child, this was a bit inconvenient. The staff kindly offered to store our food in their refrigerator downstairs, but this was not very practical as we had to go down and ask for our items each time. More importantly, there was no telephone or intercom system in our room. If we needed to contact the reception—for example, to request fresh towels—we had to use our own phone. As international travelers, roaming charges can be quite high, so this was not ideal. In our opinion, having a phone in the room is essential and would greatly improve the guest experience.
