"We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse. It was as described and the host was very communicative. He was quick with his responses which made it very easy to prepare for our trip. The house is on a lovely farm that backs up to the river. It was very well stocked so it made packing easy. There were several things in the house that improve a verbo booking (salt, pepper, cooking oil, plenty of towels, and linens, soaps, cleaning supplies, etc.). The location is very close to Massanutten as well as a Shenandoah National Park entry. Our young boys (and dogs) loved running in the yard and walking down to the river. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend it. "

"The property was amazing! Extremely clean, great for dogs. The hot tub was nice and hot. 2 kitchens, lots of bedrooms, games, grills, and firepit area. Close to the river, skyline dr, and good places to eat. I hope we can come back as it is a great launch point for exploring the Shenandoah Valley. "

"This was the perfect mini spring break getaway for our family. It was wonderful to enjoy some secluded time together while keeping our children entertained. We loved the hot tubs, fishing, canoeing, the scenery, and the cows were a big bonus for our kiddos! The hosts were extremely welcoming and very responsive throughout our entire stay. We would definitely return again and this will be a memorable mini vacation for our family!"

"This was our second great stay at Aquila's cabin for a spring hiking trip. Very comfortable cabin in a quiet, scenic location. Very private, yet close to Skyline Drive access, groceries, etc. Nice hot tub felt great after the day's hiking adventure. The owners (Alex & Sher) are always responsive to our inquiries & very helpful. We plan to return again!"
