"We were traveling to attend funeral services for my father-in-law and planned to stay at the cabin afterwards. While we were attending the services, my father died unexpectedly. We had to go home immediately and never went to the cabin. We called TripForth and explained our emergency situation. They told us they couldn’t do anything for us, and we had to forfeit all our money. We didn’t have trip insurance—we never anticipated not staying at the cabin. No refund option offered, no partial refund option offered. Total financial loss without setting foot in the cabin (no cleaning or laundering of linens necessary)The cabin isn’t fully booked out reservation-wise. It’s unfortunate there couldn’t be any accommodations made."

"We enjoyed our stay at Just Us cabin. Very clean and cozy. We were able to enjoy the fireplace during a power outage that happened during a rainy and windy night. Loved having the game room too. Looking forward to booking again in the future. "

"The cabin was everything that I imagined. Clean and well kept. I would give 5 stars except that the bridges that you have to cross to get to the cabin was terrifying. Not something the Owner can change but that’s the only bad thing about it. The host was Amazing and communicated in a timely manner. Overall great stay."

"Such a unique experience in nature virtually untouched. Great job Shenandoah, great job Lydia Mountain Cabins. Our 2day stay was a peaceful respite from the city. The snow accented this rustic cabin surrounded by trees with smoke atop a chimney from the warm fireplace burning below. The hot tub out back served as a dreamy, evening body wrap while looking up at the stars. Don't stay here for luxury. Enjoy this rustic, quaint stop in your busy lives to relax, reflect, and rejuvenate."
