"Overall, this property is nice, but with some issues. It has a great layout, plenty of tables/seating, privacy, & easy parking. The kitchen is big/well stocked. The owner is the best communicator of any VRBO property owner I have rented from. I did not mention these issues to him while there, because we didn’t think they could be resolved during our stay, and we didn’t want contractors at the property. Based on what I’ve seen of the owner, I expect he will address these things:1)The 2 rooms with king sized beds have walk-in showers. There is no shelving & no handholds (not even a shower door…just a curtain). Everything needs to be put on the floor (even your bar of soap) and the floor is VERY slippery. With no handholds & a slippery floor, it was treacherous & unsafe. I was in one of these bedrooms and managed to get by (with lots of caution), but the person in the other king bedroom took one shower in there & declined to use that shower again.2)The pool table is in horrible shape. Both cushions on the end rails are dislodged. The felt over these cushions is intact, but the bumper cushions beneath were out of place, and anytime a ball hit there, it would jump up in the air and rebound at an odd angle. Unfortunately, we only rent places that have pool tables, and this is our nighttime activity. This pool table was unacceptable. 3)This one's an easy fix, but one of the fan remote controls in one of the bedrooms was either broken or had a dead battery."

"The house is lovely and well furnished. We had a group of 11 and had plenty of room. The ONLY issue we had was not being able to get the tv’s in the bedrooms to work. Probably operator error. Didn’t mention it to Tammy as it wasn’t a big deal. Will definitely stay here again!"

"We had a fantastic stay at this house! It’s in a wonderful neighborhood with walking trails and privacy, less than 15 minutes to Bold Rock and Devils Backbone. Good fishing off the little dock - caught bass and bluegills with the kids. Hot tub worked great. The only negative was that could have used a cleanup of branches outside and some paint, but otherwise the place was fantastic."

"This was a beautiful property nestled in the woodsy mountains of Nellysford. So close to great wineries and cideries it’s definitely a great location. The cabin itself is well decorated and gives off a feel of being someone’s cabin in the offseason. The loss of a star for us was just the amount of bugs the cabin had. It had an unusual amount of stink bugs, to the point they were crawling in our hair and we didn’t hang out downstairs because there were so many of them. There were also a large amount of lady bugs but not quite as many as the amount of stink bugs. It also could be because we were there in the off season but the property in general could use some upkeep with spiderwebs/nests and dingy/dusty items around the cabin. The sleeping areas upstairs were lovely and the bathtub and hot tub were to die for! The views are stunning also. The fire pit was great also. "
